I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Invenio Solutions in October 2013.
Interview Details – Very transparent hiring process. At first, I thought it sounded like a lame job, but once I went through the interview it became much more appealing. There's several programs/clients you can be hired with. If you're looking, I'd suggest the only one I would consider being hired for is the Charter program, because Charter is one of the least terrible (do the least to screw their employees and clients) cable companies.
Interview Question – They did a hiring test, it was one of those ones like how many times does B come after C, but before 9 in this sentence BC99.... etc. kind of things. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation other than I had planned a vacation and their require 40 hrs and use of pto if you're not able to do 40 hrs. They worked with my schedule and my taking that vacation didn't effect my status.
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Invenio Solutions in April 2013.
Interview Details – Began with email submission with recruiter for Invenio, followed by brief phone interview. Pay range was discussed and we agreed we were in right ballpark to continue.
Within a week, in-person interview at Microsoft campus in the building where the job would be, interviewing with two Invenio Managers and the MSFT Team Manager.
Professional interview but relaxed atmosphere, the first taking place in a conference room, the other in the cafeteria. Each lasted an hour. The job was very clearly outlined during the process and the interview questions were pertinent to the job itself (and have been), so I felt it was a good qualifying process on both our parts.
After the interview I spoke with the recruiter by phone and discussed next steps - job would be filled within a week. Two days later I received a call from recruiter asking if I'd accept the amount we discussed earlier and when I did the paperwork process began. Only hiccup was the medical documents - this was a pain to send to corporate and took three weeks though I was covered immediately.
Overall, pretty easy process though I've been through many interviews with Microsoft over the years.
Interview Question – How you deal with a bad work situation or problem? View Answer
I applied through other source and interviewed at Invenio Solutions.
Interview Details – I had the succinct understanding that I was going to be interviewed for a client lead generation position. During the interview I found out from the woman I met with that the job was instead a cold-calling sales position; after about 10 minutes it was over, the woman making me feel as if I'd wasted her time by coming in.
She couldn't show me the door fast enough--

Interview Details – what interview? I do have a soild backround in working with Microsoft but as for an interview. I knew more about MS licensing and their products than the person who interviewed me. I guess that should have been my first warning. My Interview lasted all of about 15 mins
Interview Question – when can you start? Answer Question
