Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 5 days)
I had an xxtensive hour long telephone interview with HR representative after applying a couple of weeks earlier. Interviewer was very thorough and had a great personality. Explained the company and the position in very great detail. He asked the typical interview questions and I provided strong answers in my view.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Boston, MA (took 2+ months)
Nascent marketing organization. Interview process took a very long time and was far too exhaustive for a mid-level marketing position I was invited to apply for but never really had a chance of getting. 3 telephone interviews, 9 1:1 interviews, 2 strategy/planning presentations, a personality test & very hard-to-get references (had to track 1 person down from 12 years ago) over ~9 weeks. There were several strange delays in the process -- the longest was between my last interview and the decision. As it turns out, I was just fodder until they lined up another "friend". Humiliating. If you have significant history with the hiring manager, go for it. Otherwise, be very careful with your dignity, your time investment and the favors you request from others. One other thing ... some of the junior people seemed to be overqualified and pigeon-holed while external people are being hired above them. That may not bode well for internal advancement potential or the working environment.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1 week)
A phone interview that led to a 1:1 interview a week later. Was hinted that I had the job but she couldn't make the official offer without talking to the rest of the HR team. 2 days later, got the offer and was told to stay by the phone to hear from the HR manager. Got the call and was told to get a background check (they send you a link with the company's website) and also scheduled a drug screen test that had to be done within a few days. At the end of it, I ended up getting a offer from an other company closer to home so had to turn down the offer at Iron mountain for practical reasons.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Boston, MA (took 5 days)
The interview came from a recruitment firm. Meeting the IT Manager and one of the key workers, they seemed friendly yet they were honest about the culture there. There is definitely a struggle within ranks. It's that visable. The problem was what they were looking for ultimately different than interpreted.

Interviewed Aug 2008 (took a day)
It was a phone interview I was referred by a friend and then I got a call. After the phone interview they offered me the job. But I could not start right away so they hired some one else then that person did not work out. Then they called me back and offered it again and I was available so I took the job offer.

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
This was actually a non-interview. I was contacted by the in-house Iron Mountain recruiter who scheduled a phone interview with me. I prepared for the interview and spent a good amount of time researching the company. At the appointed time, no call. After about 10 minutes waiting, I sent an email and left a vm for the Iron Mountain recruiter out of Boston. He sent an email saying he was sick and needed to reschedule. Not a good introduction to the company, and indeed we've not ever connected despite my follow up efforts.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
Hring managers was very polite and professional, yet had a very specific vision of his ideal candidate. Which was less about skills and experience than intellectual curiosity and ability to frame problems strategically. I prepared extensive, even developing a set of slides based on the company's most recent earnings call.
