I interviewed through a recruiter. The process took a day - interviewed at J.P. Morgan.

Interview Details

There was one phone interview with two people and then a personal interview.
When there is an opening in Front end developer, you need to focus more on developing dashboards, real time stock quote applications etc...
basic dom manipulation using js is important. Need to know how to traverse HTML dom to fetch data and do some computation at the client side.
Knowledge of flex is an advantage.
They may test ur server side skills though it is an front end developer position. but that is just for assessment. If you are strong in server side but weak in front end, they might not get you...
