Digital Analyst Interview

Digital Analyst
Seattle, WA

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at J.P. Morgan in July 2013.

Interview Details – Applied online after employee referral. Initial HR interview followed by multiple interviews on phone with managers and then an in person interview with 5 members of the team. The process itself took about 2 months but HR was very slow in responding and follow ups. The HR only responded after multiple follow ups. Internally, the review process takes a long time.

Interview Question – Standard questions about past experiences. Hard to gauge the requirements of the job so please ask questions   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – Less room for negotiation. Salary an benefits are above par to the industry

Personal Banker Interview

Personal Banker
Kenmore, WA

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at J.P. Morgan.

Interview Details – 1-2 Phone Interviews
1 In-Person interview
Both the phone and in-person (1:1) interviews were low-pressure, natural and conversational tone. All my interviews were conducted by the branch manager. The in-person interview was done at the branch, which made it comfortable, and not intimidating. The questions were not overly difficult nor stressful, but rather conversational. The only drawback was that health benefits regarding family leave were not initially explained too clearly. But that was addressed and handled during the hiring process.

Interview Question – What have you done in your past to exceed a customer's expectations?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – The compensation offer was a firm offer from the employer, not negotiated

Bank Teller Interview

Bank Teller
Seattle, WA

I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at J.P. Morgan in August 2011.

Interview Details – Online application, assessment of skills and aptitude for working in a highly confidential banking environment (questions are tricky and meant to trip you up...read carefully...think about prior answers), if you pass your resume is passed onto hiring manager of the branch you designate your application to, after a phone interview an in person interview with branch manager, then hiring decision is made.

Interview Question – Very easy in person interview questions if you have any customer service experience. If you have experience handling confidential matters the easier the interview will be.   Answer Question
