Interviewed May 2010 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Applied online, received a call from the recruiter who was great! She kept calling me for newly opened positions until I landed one! She believed in my skills and abilities, even gave tips. Interviewed with branch manager, assistant branch manager and lead teller. Questions are not the typical, "what are your strengths and weaknesses" type questions, but scenarios. "Tell me about a time when you had to overcome and obstacle, what was it, and how did you overcome it", "Tell me about a time when you had a difficult customer, what was the problem, and how did you resolve the problem", "Tell me about a time where you were asked by a manager or supervisor to act in a way that was not in accordance with company policies and procedures, what was the situation and what did you do"?

Because I had no banking experience at the time of the interview, I simply took what was offered although I had a B.A. in Busineses Administration. I was hoping the teller position would give me a better chance to get to the banker position which is what I really wanted but no one would call me back to interviewnfor. I truly believe where you obtain your undergraduate degree makes a HUGE difference. I met other industry novices in training that had received personal banker offers but received undergraduate degrees from first or second tier institutions. Once inside the company, how soon you make it to banker depends on your ability to make referrals and personal determination, but the support of management weighs heavily.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
3 in-person interview. 2 of them were very technical. 1 with manager. The whole process seemed rather poorly coordinated. Took almost 4 weeks to complete the process. Technical questions focused on specific technologies being used, rather than more general questions. Did not have a good idea of what projects the people were working on.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
Started off with pre-night at a Bar... very laid back. Talk amongst 3 branch managers and 1 assistant branch manager. really chill and cool people, saw them at the bars later that night. first interview was really easy, had to sell a pen at the end. 2nd interview was at chase tower in chicago a couple weeks later. It was a day full of a couple presentations, lunch, and an interview with 2 branch managers. 2nd interview questions were pretty much the same as the first. only difference was we role played and I had to approach a "customer" who was at the atm and bring them back to my office

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
For the initial interview, I was asked many questions ranging from "why do you want to work for JPMorganChase" to "sell me my pen". The initial interview was extremely friendly and very laid back, I have to admit I was nervous but the Branch Manager was good at smoothing easing my fears. The second interview was a panel interview, it was with the District Manager, there I was asked basically the same questions. To me, it seemed more of a reassurance that the Branch Manager had made a good assessment. of me.

Reason for Declining
I wasn't looking to move to Chicago due to personal reasons. The job posting on my campus career listings did not specify that it was for that specific location.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 4+ weeks)
I applied to the position online. I applied to many not just one. After many emails that i didn't receive the chance to interview for the job I was ready to start applying to different banks. Turns out one of the same banks that sent me a rejection email calls me about two days after the email. He called a Wednesday for an interview the following Tuesday. I was late to the interview by 15 min but i did call them and let them know i was running late. Interview questions were the same ones people posted on this site, so i was prepared
