Interviewed May 2009 in Morris, IL (took 2 weeks)
To be honest, the interviewer called at odd hours, and never picked up the phone when I called back. We played a good amount of voice mail tag. Otherwise, the line of questioning was pretty simple background and sales questioning. After I moved past this phase, I gave it some more thought and decided that it wasn't the opportunity for me.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
First contact will be via email, asking you to call a specific recruiter to set up a phone screen. The phone screen is pretty basic, no real interview questions- just a review of your experience. In person interview is with 3-4 different people in a round robin format. You'll meet with several DM's and their boss.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
One of the DM's and the Market Mgr were complete morons. Both of them were extremely process and number oriented. Anytime I spoke about managing "people", they were at a loss. It was very obvious they didn't have a clue and were used to managing as opposed to leading. The scary thing is that both of them were chase lifers and had been in leadership positions for a long time. Its no wonder that Chase has high turn over, low job satisfaction, and terrible moral. I was extremely turned off by my interaction with their chicago leadership, it felt more like I was interviewing at a manufacturing plant or something.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Rolling Meadows, IL (took 1 week)
I was contacted by a recruiter. She invited me to apply to one of her openings. After applying, she followed up to schedule the interview. She told me that it was about 1 1/2 hour long process, it ended up taking over 3 hours. I was interviewed by two different DMs, then the market manager. Besides the long wait with no reading materials, it was a very pleasant experience. Mostly behavior based questions and role plays.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 1 week)
First step was the phone interview with HR. Pretty standard. Then you have an interview with two of the supervisors. They basically want to see you have a "passion for the business." They want personable people but no one too chatty. The unsaid motto is great service, accurate information, low talk time.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
I initially was told about the position at our schools job fair. After the job fair I had to complete an easy math test online and apply online at the chase website. After that I was contacted for an on campus interview with an in store branch manager. I passed that part and had to go to an interview in chicago.

Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Read alot of negative reviews. I wanted the job as an entry level to move up the ranks, I have 10 years experience in sales and have done well. I don't want to start back at 0 if there isn't a good opporutunity to move up quickly with performance.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in West Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
Applied online and received a call from a recruiter some time later. Had a phone interview with her and all was seemed to go well, after that I had a in person interview with district manager at a nearby bank. The manager was really nice and the interview went really well, I left feeling pretty good about my chances of landing the job. Unfortunately a few days went buy and I didn't receive a call, I ended up having to call the recruiter who promptly sent me to her voicemail instead of answering my call. About 20 minutes later I received a rejection email. All in all kind of a big let down, not too sure if I wanted to work in a bank inside a grocery store, but still a poor way to end the process.
