Interviewed Dec 2009 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 1 week)
I had an interview over the phone with the recruiter. She said this is a sales position. Then a few days later I had an interview with a branch manager. I was then asked to meet with the district manager. When on my way to the interview (40 miles from my home) I get a call saying that position had been filled. It would have been nice to have some notice. They then scheduled me for another interview with another branch manager and then the DM.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
They gave me an initial interview on campus. That part was pretty straightforward and basic. Then they invited me downtown with twelve other candidates to interview, have lunch, and have a presentation. It was all extremely gimmicky. Make no mistake about it, this is a sales position and is no different than any other sales position. If you studied finance, accounting, or economics then do not waste your time. 95% of finance related majors are over-qualified for this job. I have had over a dozen interviews in the last six months and this was by far the worst one that I have had.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took a day)
The interview was very quick, manager asked if I was used to sell products, if I have a quota system at my current job. I tried to explain the system we have but was not satisfied. Basically asked about meeting goals rather that customer service skills.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Initial phone call from recruiter after submitting application on Chase.com careers site. Phone interview involved past and present experiences, why I think I would qualify for the job and why I applied to the company. Recruiter also emphasized this is job involves a huge emphasis on selling products and cross selling. The in person interview was set up for the following week with a branch manager and regional manager. Some of the questions reflected the phone interview and a lot of stressing on selling. Observed a meet and greet of a personal banker and customer. A couple of role playing: 1) Customer with $50K and asking advice on what to do with the money. 2) Meet and greet customers. Interview involved salary and compensation structure. $32k/yr + commission. Interview lasted a little over an hour. I felt the interview went well but did not get the position. Chase was very slow to respond. Got a rejection email almost 2mos after the interview.

Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 1+ week)
My first interview was when I was just graduating college. They ask some pretty standard interview questions, describe a time when you overcame an obstacle, talk about your work experience, what is important to you in a career, etc...I also got asked to sell something, in my case it was a Sharpie marker. Basically they are just trying to gauge how comfortable you are interacting with other people and making sure that you aren't awkward or unprofessional, as this job deals with the public every day.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 3 weeks)
First Interviewed with Branch Manager and District Manager. Asked about sales experience and offering products to clients. They also asked about experience and embraced the fact that it was a sales position. After interviewing with BM and DM there was a second interview with the Market Manager. They used scripted interview questions. The approval process starts with the BM and works all the way up to the Regional Management. After getting final approval the hiring recruitor calls back to make the offer.
