Mainly behavior questions with some analysis on financial statements including EBITDA margins, operating margins, net income, and others. Individuals were very kind and willing to help if you didn't understand their question completely. Got a call back one day later.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
Their initial contact email said it would be an informational call, but it turned out to be a formal first-round interview. Opened with typical "walk me through your resume". Most questions were technical, like company valuations, industry multiples, how to read financial statements, etc. Also asked about past project experiences. The interviewer was friendly overall.

face to face interview - question is mostly customer service (how to handle irritated /rude / egoistic customers) - basically they are checking how good can you kiss

Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Everything thing depends on your Branch Manager and Assistant Manager. they can be very accommodating or they'll just mess with the schedule to see you suffer.
Bank work requires paying lots of attention to minor detail in very short time. there are alot of Acts and regulations to remember and they keep changing.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Walnut Creek, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Started with a brief phone screening; then first in person interview- standard interview, asked about experience, past performance, why I was looking to leave current job etc. At the end of that interview, I was told he wanted to have me meet with his boss, and that the admin would be in touch to schedule it. Didn't hear from her until I reached out again, but then was scheduled for round 2 a week or so later. That interview was more of the same, although I also had to role play a few sales scenarios. Knew it went well, and a few days later got a call discussing an offer with terms, etc, pending my background check clearing and my drug test being clear. Both of those were fine (surprisely no credit check), but I decided the pay was too low for me and declined the offer
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Pay too low, didn't care for the manager I'd report to (unprofessional and seemed unintelligent)

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Daly City, CA (took 3 weeks)
After the application, you do a test online (about 30 minutes) consisting of basic math questions. After a week I got a call from the manager of the location I applied to for an interview. After the interview, a week later I got a call from an HR representative offering me the job and letting me know the pay. I accepted, and received a on-boarding packed in the mail two days later. There is some work to do online, and you need to get an drug test as well. After all that is complete, the branch manager contacted me with my schedule. The first few days were online training sessions, then shadowing, then a week of classroom training (they pick the location, and will refund your transportation expenses to get there). After you pass the classroom session, you start on your own.

Went to its hiring event get connections. Talk to big people is the key I.E. district managers, people who can make decision. And then apply online, get a phone call next week. Went to interview on the day after I received the phone call, and got an offer afternoon. The process go very quick, took 5 days from the event to get the job offer.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Company contacted me within a week of submitting my resume. HR personnel throughout process was impressive. Had contact with 2 HR people throughout process; 1 did the initial phone screen, the other set up my interviews. HR folks were knowledgable, enthusiastic and organized. They really set the tone for my overall experience.
Had 2 phone interviews (1 with hiring mgr, other with peer panel). Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful; forthcoming and straightforward in their answers to my questions. Interviews were very easygoing and effortless. Was told up front what to expect from the process (2 phone interviews, a writing test, then a face-to-face onsite in SFrancisco). Everything unfolded as expected.
I made it all the way through the writing test portion of the process but was not asked to do a face-to-face interview. This is the only part of the process that disappointed -- I was not given any feedback but simply received a rejection e-mail saying they had gone with someone else. Disappointing but, overall, left me with a great impression of the company and its employees. I would definitely consider working for JPMC if another opportunity arose.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 3 days)
applied online and got a phone call interview from the recruiter. Recruiter asks couple of questions regarding your sales ability, give me a time when you had to handle an irate customer, HAve you ever coached someone, previous job question, etc. took about 20 min. Recruiter scheduled me an appointment with Branch manager & assistant manager and interviewed for 30 min. Following day, district manager called me and asked quick simple qusetions like why do you want to work for chase. The district manager offered me the job and told me that the recruiter will call me regarding the offer letter. Got denied because of my previous criminal background history in 2007. (5 yrs had to pass from the date when the case was dismissed.)
