Interviewed Jan 2012 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
First round interviews were 1 on 1 interviews (two of them) on capabilities, soft skills and some brain teasers.
Second round was an assessment day. First case study, were you answer questions within time limit. Then you needed to present your findings. Next was a group discussion, ending with more 1:1 interviews.
Nice experience, with good feedback in the end.

First interview with BB, or rather in IBD industry. Wasn't expecting it to be so technical. Standard tell me about yourself, strengths/weakness, then asked if you follow the markets - i said yes, do you think (index in the market you follow) will go up or down tomorrow? Why? Pitch me a stock.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Bournemouth, England (United Kingdom) (took 3 weeks)
Logic reasoning and numerical tests first, then the first round interview. You ***MUST*** bring the email they sent you in the online application system (not even in your email). The security guard don't care about applicant if you don't know the name of your contact. And this is just ridiculous, i've got interview in other tech and consulting giants and none of then asked me for the bloody letter. The interview started late for half an hour. Technology interview was easy and very general, the guy was easy going, 15yrs+ exp. in JPM. The competence interview was humiliating, being assumed to be a liar in the very first question... The lady was absolutely offensive and in no way that I can work with her, if she is going to be my supervisor. In general, the interview was badly organised, and the process was different from the description stated online. All the applicants were confused on the day

Interviewed Apr 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
- Applied online, standard process
- Phone call to confirm assessment center
- Assessment center took 1 day
- Started at 9am with brief intro from HR team
- 15min math test, similar to the one online
- 30min case study preparation. The case study as about a company looking to acquire another one. Had to choose between 3 possible options. All the relevant information was given (EBITDA, Revenues, multiples, etc...) Since all the acquisition would leed to accretion it was more about strategic fit etc.
- 30 min presentation to a VP about the case study. Applicants are put under pressure but it's not too bad. Then casual chat with the VP
- Lunch break with networking opportunity with associates and senior analyst. Good opportunity to ask them fit questions (why did u join JP? etc.)
- After lunch, 30min to 1h Personality interview. Standard fit questions with a VP or MD.
- Then 30min to 1h Technical interview. The level of technicality can differ. I was interviewing with an MD so it wasn't that technical
Then you're free to go
They called back the next day, first one of the VP, then the HR guy, then an associate I had a chat with during lunch which offered her help if I ever needed anything.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
3 one on one fit based interviews. The people were all very friendly and all very helpful. If you dont know something they try to guide you through it. Getting to the interview is the hardest part, there is a realization that the interviewers need to fill out the paperwork of standard comp questions so they are very informal.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
I was sent an email to set up a phone interview. It was conducted by a person from HR.
The interview mainly consisted of questions about my resume: past internships, year abroad etc., the the usual questions 1) Why JP Morgan? 2) Why this division? 3) How does JP differentiate from its competitors? There were also a few questions regarding the current market situation (only commodities in my case).
