Interviewed Dec 2011 in Long Beach, CA (took a day)
First I was interviewed by phone by the HR manager; after my phone interview I was called for an interview with 5 pears and bosses, 30 minutes each. The whole interview lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes and I was hired later on the same day

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Calgary, AB (Canada) (took 3 weeks)
The interview was for Process Engineer -New grad position and was held at the University career services office.
The interviewers were a Lead Engineer and HR specialist. It was interactive interview around my resume. It was very friendly and little informal. The main interviewer was the technical while the HR person was asking a Q from time to time.
What kind of projects did you work in?
Have you worked in small teams or only big teams? Challenges with a project?
What do you do outside work?
Have you travelled/work abroad?
Expected graduation date? eligibility to work in Canada?
How many courses are you taking?
Software/programs capabilities!!
Do you like multiple tasks or one task?
Why did you choose Jacobs? What do you know about Jacobs?
What kind of sports do you like?
Tell me about task you proud of?
Questions related to previous experiences?Internship?Part time work?,... (They prefer ppl with previous experience, internships)
The interviewers were super friendly and welcomy and trying to give you info and advice as much as they could.
To prepare:
-Prepare situations,well summarized.
-Resume organization is important.
-Be simple and confident
-Consult Career services at you school for preparation and support.
After 2weeks, they called me for a visit to the company where I met a young engineer giving me intro about the company ,the environment and kind of work. Also, I received the offer before that visit. They assume you would discuss the offer content when you are in their office.
Good Luck

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
I was contacted the prior week to fly in and be put in a hotel the previous night for an interview the next morning. Was not told for what positions specifically. I interviewed with 8 different project leads for 2 separate positions for 4 hours. One position was for a piping engineer and one as a rotating equipment engineer. Very casual interview to start, it was more of a 'get to know me" type interview to base my fit in the company I expected. 30 minutes per person after the initial meeting with HR where I was asked the normal "why I would be a good fit", "what do you want out of this job" etc. . I shared my experience and knowledge in the respective fields and was then informed as to my starting responsibilities had I been given an offer to join them. I was questioned numerous times as to what I wanted to end up being as an engineer, which I responded was yet to be written. It was a pleasant interview all around and not very demanding from a specific engineering knowledge, sort of way.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Edmonton, AB (Canada) (took 3 days)
I was contacted by the department manager to join the team once they started rehiring after the recession. He (the dept. mgr.) was very friendly and approachable via phone. We discussed their needs and my current position then set up a formal interview. At the formal interview I spoke with the dept manager and the piping coordinator one on one. Both were very friendly and knowledgable.
Negotiation Details
Very short. They didn't provide me with a lot or room to work and declined to consider something more reasonable for my experience and background.

You must be very persistant. Jacobs is a big company and HR will lose you if possible . Call every day and sometimes twice a day if you get a snif you are inn the running for a Job. It seems like they will put you to work just to keep you from bothering them.
Reason for Declining
had taken an other position At another Company

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Boston, MA (took 3 weeks)
Met with the manager for the prospective position - very pleasant experience, was on time, attentive to detail; definitely spent time looking at my resume. I left positive impression and was introduced to the "future colleagues". The manager was 99% certain I would get the job.
Second interview was 3 weeks after the first one (adjustments due to the schedule of the Regional Manager); he was late, in a hurry, rude, and didn't listen to the answers/questions.
I heard back from them 5 days after the second interview - they hired someone with more experience.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 5 days)
Initially for this type position, you must go through a staffing agency/employment agency. You must pass a background check and drug screening---regardless of what position you hold in this company. No druggies or felons will be allowed to work here...Great thing! You'll interview with your staffing agency to see if they think you're a good match and if so, then they proceed to send you to Jacobs for a face to face interview. Very nice people to work with but there's no opportunities for advancement.
