Interviewed Jan 2012 in Brea, CA (took 2 weeks)
This is for the BREA MALL Jamba Juice.
I was walking around the mall looking for places that were hiring and I came across that this location was hiring, so I talked to the cashier and she told me to print out an application online and turn it in. I did just that. When i went in the next day to submit my application I gave it to the Shift Manager who then gave it to the general manager. I decided that the next day I would call the Jamba Juice location and ask if the manager was there and if he got my application. The Shift manager then said that he will call me back when he comes in. The next day i get a call from the general manager and he schedules me for an in-person interview a few days later.
When i arrived to the interview, i greeted the workers with a smile and a hello and asked for the manager, he came out and the interview began. I will say that it was a very relaxed, fun and casual interview. DON'T MAKE YOUR ANSWERS SOUND SCRIPTED!!! BE YOURSELF. BE FUN. BE HAPPY AND SMILE A LOT. DON'T FORGET TO LAUGH AS WELL!
After the interview, he asked if i had questions, i didn't have any other than when would i hear back, he told me that i would hear back within a week because he had more people to interview and if i didn't hear back within a week, I should give him a call. A week passed and i didn't hear from him so i gave him a call and he wasn't in the store at the time, so i left a message with the shift manager who said he'd call back when he got in. A couple of hours later, I get a call saying i got the job!! I told him i would think about it and let him know in a couple of days. He agreed, told me to take my time, and the next day i called him asked him about specific things such as what the pay was, the hours i will be given and also how training goes. he explained it all, i felt comfortable with it all, so i accepted the offer.
The manager and the rest of the crew at this location are so fun and happy, i can tell i am going to love working here!
if you have an interview, good luck and be yourself! don't be shy and quiet, you won't get hired.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
There was no negotiation for hourly pay: it's just straight out $8 an hour.
If you're going to consider taking this offer be sure to ask about the pay and if the amount of pay they give you is to your liking. Also ask about the amount of hours you will be given a week and if the hourly pay and distance you have to go to work is worth it. And lastly, ask about how training works out, I used to work at another food chain and they didn't train me at all, so i was hesitant to get back into a job where i would be working with food. If you feel comfortable with all those three things, then go for it. take the job! good luck!

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
Interview was pretty informal. No need to stress out before applying. Attitude more important than experience -- they look for upbeat people and are willing to train people without experience. The work environment at Jamba Juice can be noisy and fast-paced so it helps if you show a willingness to handle the sound and customer volume. Jamba Juice provides benefits to part-time employees -- it takes some time to qualify, though.

Reason for Declining
Had three interviews in the same week and landed three job offers. Another company seemed a better fit.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 1+ week)
I applied to three Jamba Juice stores.Of the three, two were hiring while the other one was not really hiring but accepting applications. Jamba Juice #1, the first Jamba I applied at, called me within 4 days of receiving my application. They called me on a Friday and scheduled an interview for the following Monday. But I was out of town so we made the interview on the following Wednesday. I turned in my application on a Monday to the assistant manager at Jamba Juice #2, the next Jamba Juice I applied at. She said that they would call me on the following Wednesday, and if I don't receive a call by Wednesday then I should call them on the following Friday. She even told me that it helps to be persistent because it shows how I really want the job. I didn't receive a call on Wednesday, so I waited to call them on Friday. I called on Friday and the same assistant manager who received my application said the manager already left for the weekend. And she said that she'll have the manager call me on the following Monday. Monday came around and still no call. So I waited around a little longer and finally gave them a call on the following Wednesday. This time I spoke with the manager. The manager set up an interview for the following Friday morning. I didn't bother following up with my application for Jamba #3 since they weren't really hiring. I decided I'll see if I get the job at Jamba #1 or #2.
The interview with Jamba #1 was with the assistant manager. He asked me hypothetical questions as well as questions concerning my personality. Some of the questions about my personality included "What do you like to do for fun?" and "How would your teachers describe you?". The interview concluded with the assistant manager saying that they'd probably call me for a second interview. A week passed since the interview and I still didn't receive a call for a second interview. Whomp whomp.
The interview with Jamba #2 seemed to go better than the interview with Jamba #1. This time I had an interview with the manager. He asked me questions that were similar to the questions in the interview with Jamba #1. But unlike the interview with Jamba #1, the manager in the interview with Jamba #2 asked me questions such as "How would you define integrity?" and "What do you have to offer Jamba Juice?". Also, the manager told me about the uniform and the pay. The interview concluded with the manager saying that he had 2 more interviews then he'd call me on the following Monday if I got the job. The Monday passed by and I didn't receive a phone call, so I panicked. I thought I didn't get the job. But being so anxious, I decided to call the manager the next day. He said he one of his interviewees rescheduled for that same day. Then he said he'd have his decision that night and would call me regardless of whether I get the job or not. Several hours went by, then I finally received a call. I got the job! I can't wait to start my first job at Jamba Juice!

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Orem, UT (took 3 days)
The whole process was actually very fun and relaxed (but I tend to get nervous anyway). I walked in to hand my application in to the manager who smiled, took it, and told me that she will be filtering through the applications today. I didn't think I'd even get called back until the next day when I was called in for an interview that night.
I got my best cloths on and went in for the interview. However when I got there, the manager had left early. I gave her a call and she told me how sorry she was and that we could have it the next day. I agreed and went in for the interview. The first manager seemed to really like my personality and wanted me to work there. At then end of the first interview she gave me some tips on how to answer questions for the second.
So I went home, and waited. Sure enough I had a second interview the next day. I went in for that one, this time I was talking to the actual hiring manager. I answered all the questions to the best of my knowledge and used the tips the other manager gave me. She went on to explain what I will need to buy to work there and what my training weeks would be like. At the end she walked me out and left me with a very neutral, "I have other interviews to see to today, I'll call you tomorrow to tell you if you have a job." That night I was a nervous wreck. But tomorrow afternoon I got a call from her offering the position! Stay positive!!

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 2 days)
I first found out about the interview from a flyer at the store for a job fair. The next day, I arrived and was met with a group of about 20 people. We were split into two groups to do group interviews. The employee went down the line and asked us all of the typical job questions. Then we moved on to a second phase, where everyone gathered into one big group. The employees gave us each an index card with one of Jamba Juice's products on it and some facts about it. We were then instructed to "sell the product" to the entire group, one at a time. The interview ended with a few minutes given for us to ask any questions we had.
After the group interview, I got a call about two hours later for a follow-up. The follow-up consisted of a one-on-one with the store manager. She asked me to tell me about myself, and describe my work experience, among other things. We basically had a very relaxed conversation where she did most of the talking. Also, about 50% of the interview was me asking her questions and her extremely long responses. I think my question asking mainly led me to get my job. Anyway, got called up about 2 days after and landed the job. Going tomorrow for orientation!

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took a day)
I applied there during March and did not get a callback for an interview until April. Since I was trying to fit the interview into my schedule, I had to change the date twice. I was hoping this would not hurt my chances, and it didn't! Very accommodating and understanding on their part.
I met up with the manager the following week. Good hygiene, clean and sharp looking, I greeted the manager with a friendly smile. A firm handshake is necessary to show you have confidence. We chit chatted: typical interview questions and a background of what to expect for the job and who they are looking for. She told me she had to whittle down the applicants and let me know tomorrow if she was interested.
I got a call back! This time with another manager. I was expecting to interview with one other manager, but instead it was both managers this time. I thought it would be a barrage of questions but it turned out to be a friendly conversation. They asked me a bit about myself this time. I feel although this interview was meant to see how well you would fit in with their team. I think I did well.
Got a call back on Monday evening. Extremely happy to work at a place I love! No doubt I will not let the managers down.
