Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 4 days)
It was a pretty long drawn out process over 4 days. First was the initial interview which was conducted over the phone just to determine interest level in the position. That was followed by a 1:1 interview with the owner of the franchise the following day. That was pretty simple uneventful and really led nowhere. They set up a second interview on a following day with the director of operations. He seemed to be disinterested, and would have rather been doing something different that day. Upon the completion of that interview was an inservice to test skills and try and determine a persons work ethic. Offer was given day later.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They will low ball you on salary. Don't sell yourself short because they are making money as a company and they can afford to pay a manager what they are worth to the company. They well budge on their final number, but it still may be a bit lower than you feel you deserve.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Austin, TX (took 3 weeks)
Was contacted by an HR person who set up a phone interview. After completing the phone interview, was asked to in-store interview then in-store training for 4 hours. Still waiting to hear back regarding job offers. Overall, this is one of the best companies that I have interviewed for. They truly seem to be concerned and care about the employees, customers and applicants. I was always given direct and specific details regarding interview dates and times. I also received a reminder call confirming the interviews. Also, I always received a follow up phone call as well.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 2 days)
MY first interview took as the most 2 minuets. I actually drove 45 minuets to the office to have an opportunity to not ask any questions about them and was rushed out of the office so the next candidate could get in.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 3 days)
First interview is relatively brief. It'll take a few days until you receive a call back. They try to keep you informed of the process and how far you are along in it, although it can take some time if folks have time off. The 2nd interview is less an interview, more of a hands on experience during a busy lunch shift. In my case, I toured the Deli, met a few people, and did one basic but essential task. This is to give you a feel of a day in the life of a manager, as well as for the company to make sure you'll suit them. Both parties benefit.
Also, you're not grilled on skills, etc. It's more of a relaxed interview. They'll ask a bit bout your past employers, yourself, your goals, what's important in a company. It's not too terribly hard. Be honest, I told my answers on the fly, nothing really to prepare for.

Negotiation Details
I originally through out 34-35, I ended up with 32k. Still good enough for my experience. Don't go to high, obviously don't low ball yourself. Use an honest assessment of your skills and most likely, you'll get a number in the ballpark that matches your skill.

I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.
