    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a weekinterviewed at Joe Cooper Ford in February 2012.

    Interview Details

I talked to three sales managers, The new car, used car, and internet. The process takes awhile. The managers are almost always busy trying to work out car deals for their salesman, so interviewing you can be the last thing on their list. There is a lot of waiting for them to get to you, if they are busy. I think it's a test because you must have patience in this job. The thing is that the days can be unpredictable. You may interview on a slow day and get in and out. Then again it may be a busy day and you could be waiting awhile.

    Interview Questions
    • Not really any, as long as you show interest in making money and in the product. The key thing to nailing the interview is to stay positive and energetic, with the willingness to learn.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
There is none. Selling cars is mainly a commission based salary. you are entitled to a draw, which is a front on money that you will make up in sales. If you continually do not make your draw up in sales, you will be fired. If you are a good and proven salesman you may be able to negotiate for a higher draw.
