A recruiter from the UK office coordinated with her counterpart in the US to setup an initial phone screening. It consisted of HR questions basically. The US recruiter wasn't friendly at all and she was doing it for name sake and I did not feel good through the interview.

JM was looking to fill this position through a recruitment agency. I got this information from a reference who worked with JM then. So I submitted my curriculum vitae and impressed by my CV, I was called for an interview. The interview panel of JM generally contains the prospective line manager apart from an expat. In my case, the expat was the line manager of my prospective line manager. The interview was general about how I think to solve a troubleshooting problem to understand my thinking process.

Negotiation Details
I didn't negotiate much, but was able to negotiate a bit on the salary. I get the impression that I should have negotiated further.

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview, a Skills Test and a Background Check.
