I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4 months - interviewed at Johnson & Johnson.
Interview Details – I had several interviews over a couple of years, since I had targeted this company and had a couple of sponsors who kept my name in front of hiring managers. When I had my final interviews, (a total of four), I felt comfortable with the team and was told that they were comfortable with me and were interested in hiring me, even before the offer was finalized.
Interview Question – The most difficult question was understanding the actual scope of the job title, especially as an external hire. I strongly recommend asking what a typicaly day is like and what the current hot projects are so that you have a feel for what the title really means. Answer Question
Negotiation Details –
Negotiation matched my salary expectations.
I was not able to negotiate additional time off, which was a big deal for me. I had just left a company with 6 weeks of time off and had hoped to negotiate a lower salary in exchange for an additional week of time off. I wasn't able to do this and only had three weeks of time off.
