Interviewed May 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 1+ week)
HR made initial contact and subsequently screened by HR. I had a thirty minute phone interview with the hiring manager. I had an intense face-to-face panel interview at one of their offices. They ask standard questions, but a lot, and they go back many years.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
I contacted the name or the hiring manager given me by the employee referral. That person conducted a short phone screen and interest validation, and scheduled an in-person interview for the following week. The interview reviewed experience, skills, qualifications, and answered questions regarding the scope of the position. The potential next step interview was described. Since that time a follow up e-mail and phone call from me was answered, but no further progress toward a decisions has been made by JLL.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
Through a personal referral I was invited to their London office for an interview. Initially the Head of Research as the potential direct supervisor, the Managing Director responsible for the Research division and someone from HR were to attend. Very friendly and accommodating conversations in planning the interview. Received a help guide with sample questions. 1st Part of the interview was with the person from HR and the Head of Research, 2nd Part with the MD, the person from HR and additionally the COO. Questions ranged from personal background, personal goals and career plans, personal interests. Some technical questions about my knowledge and qualifications. All interviewers were very nice, friendly, relaxed, sometimes joking but also serious about the questions and replies. Work culture is based heavily on personal ambition and goals. Company will run with them but one has to initiate them.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Beijing, Beijing (China) (took a day)
Two people from the HR interviewed me. Since at that time I'm not that actively looking for a job, the whole process was quite relax. They asked me about my past working experience, my future career plan and so on. All the questions were normal ones. At the same time, they gave me some useful advice on what I should do if I want to peruse a career in JLL in the future.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
Received a call from HR after applying online and calling in a few times to check on status. Went in for 1:1 interviews. Met with 2 seperate people and one phone interview due to team member located out of town. Good interviewers, typical questions for fit, personality, some behavioral based like what was the last time you had a problem and how did you overcome it.

Interviewed Feb 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
I have been at the company for 4 years and have scored in the top 10% on performance reviews each year, but passed over time and time again. It is very political and not based on performace as far as moening up.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Dallas, TX (took 2+ weeks)
Began with a phone interview. I then went in for a one on one interview with manager. Took a skills test. Good questions were asked. Was called back for a second interview with more senior management which went terribly. The manager asked almost no questions and seemed entirely bored. To my surprise I received a fairly decent offer and accepted the position. There was a drug screen and background check. The background check was extensive. They asked for w-2's from my previous employer.

Slightly. Negotiate for a higher salary. They try to push it off on bonus which is "gauranteed" although they had bonus and salary freeze periods when I was there.
