Interviewed Oct 2011 in Sacramento, CA (took 4 days)
Group interview, then they called back two hours later for a 1:1 interview. Then they called my references four days later and I got the job. The back stock area is really small, but everyone is so nice there. Great job and great discount! Make sure your really bubbly and happy during the interview, and wear stuff that looks like it could be part of the juicy fashion

Interviewed Aug 2009 in New York, NY (took 5 days)
I met with the Director in March, was not offered the position until August.
In between I interviewed with 2 VP's, Design Director, Director of Human Resources.
In my initial meeting with the Director I talked about styles I had seen on the Juicy website that I felt were best sellers based on how many versions I found. Luckily, I was correct and the Director was impressed.
The other interviews were all focused on how i could improve product standards and profitability. Anyone who is interviewing for a Product Development position should be prepared to discuss negotiation, profitability and working with overseas factories. Also, very important is how you interact with direct reports and and cross-functional partners.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in San Diego, CA (took 1 week)
I saw this location was hiring on the mall website and went in-store to get an application which I returned same day. This should be treated as part of the interview as well because the staff is like family and they'll let the hiring manager know what they think of you. Five days later I got a call from the hiring manager to schedule an interview three days later. When I arrived the girls on the floor asked me a lot of questions about myself and why I wanted to work here; they were totally friendly. I was interviewed with another girl and we took turns answering questions. It was super comfortable, more like a conversation than an interview. After the interview she told us she was looking for someone bold who could initiate conversations with total strangers to generate sales. I dressed professional, black flats, gray dress pants, navy blouse, and navy Juicy Couture earrings which the manager noticed.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in San Diego, CA (took 1 week)
I asked for an application at the store, turned it in at the beginning of the week, got a call the next day to schedule an interview (I was never informed it was going to be a group interview). Went in for an interview at the end of the week. There were five other candidates. The manager broke the ice with the first question, asked the following:
1.Tell me something about yourself
2. Tell me about your retail/work experience
3. Why you want to work at juicy
4.Tell me an example of when you handle a difficult situation or a customer
5. Tell me your strengths
6. What makes you a good candidate for the position..or something along those lines.
From all the candidates, I was clearly the one with the most experience, I have worked in retail and customer service before. I have a college degree and I'm bilingual (living in San Diego and being able to speak Spanish is a major advantage!). Yet, I wasn't offered a position.
The staff is definitely friendly, but I have noticed the lack of diversity at the store. I would like to see more people of color working there.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
I found the interviewer VERY Bizarre. They contacted me out of the blue, and wanted to meet within two days. The HR person was extremely nice on the phone. But in person she was short, and didn't give me a chance to inquire about the position. It was the worst interview I ever experienced. I think she was expecting a different candidate.

I interviewed with the store manager. I feel she was looking for a more personable interview. I would suggest to get comfortable and less professional.
