Interviewed Mar 2012 (took a day)
Interviewed once with Senior Mangager one-on-one for a part-time brand representative position. Was provided with information about the company and the individual store sales performance record, as well as the dynamic of the staff. What interested me was the description of a postitive team environment from the District Manager to the part-time sales staff. Also, the store was immaculate from front to the back room. Customer service top-notch, as I have shopped there before. Did not discuss salary at this time.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Linden, NJ (took a day)
The interviewer was very nice and the whole process was very easy. The only downside was that there were over 30 people up for the job and only 1 open position.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in St. George, UT (took a day)
Applied online. I received a call a couple days later for an interview. I went in excited and when I asked about the interview the lady that does the hiring admitted to me that she had forgotten about an interview. We went into the back room to her "office." She read me questions from a book (which I don't think was very professional) with no eye contact. She also had to write down every word that I said. Then after the questions we went back into the store and she had me pick out an outfit to go with the question she gave me.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 1 week)
I arrived about 10 minutes early and checked in with an associate. I was told to go ahead and look around while I waited for them to call me back. Within about 5 minutes, the assistant manager came out and introduced herself and shook my hand, I did the same. We went to the back for a one on one interview. The questions weren't very difficult, just mostly about past experience: tell me about a time you gave good customer service, how do you handle a difficult customer. Others were tell me a time when you disagreed with a rule, disagreed with your manager. And why do you want to work here. So make sure you do some research about the company first. Overall, she was really nice and made me feel comfortable and she told me she would call me soon with a decision.
About a week later she called and offered me the job.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
I applied online to Justice and got a phone call back about 1-2 weeks later asking for me to come in for an interview. The woman interviewing me was very laid back and nice, and thankfully it was a one on one interview. I expected the usual interview questions......strengths, weaknesses, why they should hire me, etc....but I didn't get any of that. Instead, I was asked simple questions about what I want to do in the long-run career wise, anything I knew about loss prevention, what I usually looked at when I first entered a store, and even what I expected of my manager. This was the first interview I have ever went to, and was very nervous. I was pleased to find out that I felt very comfortable before, during, and after when talking with the staff. I was told I got the job (thanks to my personality XD) and, because I had no previous work experience, the woman had me fill out an application online with 3 references from a preacher/teacher...basically someone who knew my dependability. I am very excited for Orientation this weekend :)

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Lewisville, TX (took a day)
I was scheduled for an interview at 4:30 and arrived a few minutes early, so I waited outside the store (it was in a mall) and waited until my scheduled time. I went in, and the group was already heading into the room. I sat down and they asked me general questions like, "Describe a time when you did a good favor" and was asked about availability. I did not get to answer all questions because there were about 5 other girls with me. I was told I would be contacted in the next two weeks or so about whether or not I got the job. Never got a call back....

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Pleasanton, CA (took a day)
I applied online on a weekend and they called me the following Wednesday for an interview. I went to the interview with a folder full of resumes and lists of references in case she wanted any extra copies. The manager, who was a very nice, took me into the back room and stated that it was going to be a short interview.
I was actually pretty taken aback by her questions because they were questions that I had never been asked or even heard of, so I wasn't really prepared. But I managed to answer all of them to the best of my ability. At the end, she asked for a list of references and said that she would start calling references that week.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 3 weeks)
I applied for position online. A few days later the manager of the paticular store requested additional information online. One week later the store manager called and scheduled an interview for the following week. When Igot there the manager who spoke to me was not there and the interview was with one of the assistant managers. The interview was pretty basic form questions off of a sheet. She told me they were not hiring for mangement now and I was already aware of that but I knew I was over qualified but happy to get back into retail even if just part time sales. She indicated she was happy with interview and would speak with the manager and the next time she would see me would probably be in training. That was 1 week ago now and I have not heard. The questions were about getting along with others, taking direction and customer service.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 4 days)
If you call this an interview..
I spoke to the manager when I went in the store and she said that a spot had opened up and after speaking to her for a few minutes she gave me her card and told me to fill out the online profile. So I did and she called me the next business day and she invited me to fill out an application and then to come in the next day. My interview was for 3pm. I showed up at 2:45 and was asked to walk around the store. At 3:15 I went up to another sales associate and reminded them I was there so that I wasn't forgotten. She told me the manager wasn't there yet. I walked around for another fifteen minutes and she walks in and spends another fifteen minutes just talking to another woman about personal things. Finally she leaves and walks over to me and says that she remembers me and we exit the store to have the interview.
She asks me to tell her about myself, I do - my experience is above qualified for the position but I just wanted to make a little money on the side and was more than willing to work as an associate. But before I could get into my work experience, she then breaks off and starts talking about one of her other sales associates that she finds to be a good worker. She tells me that the girls coworkers don't like her and regard her as being treated with favoritism but she thinks the girl is just wonderful. She wins employee of the month every month for the past year. I listen politely, all the while wondering how this is relevant except as an intimidation tool. Then she asks if I have any questions. I am amazed at this point because she asked me one question. In an effort to redeem myself I finish off with my experience - she even seems surprised with my qualifications, which shows she never even read my profile or application. I had also done my research on the company and so I finish with a profile on the company and what I find interesting about the company. I then hand her my resume and she ends the interview and leaves.
I never hear back from her, but with a biased interview and work environment that this woman is obviously creating, I'm sure it was healthier not to.
