Very Easy Interview
I applied in-person and the process took 2 days - interviewed at KBR in June 2013.
Interview Details – Had initial phone interview with a Director. Following said interview, I was asked to fly out to Virginia to meet with both the Director and Hiring Manager, a Senior VP. The interview was very informal, with majority of question directed towards my military background and expertise. Following the 40-minute meeting, I was taken to dinner and then I flew out the next day. I waited for nearly 2 weeks before I received a call telling me I had the job. ( I was later told that the delay was due to the requirement that the division president had to sign off on the hire and that he was out of town.)
Interview Question – No hard or unexpected questions. Straightforward, "tell me about yourself, your back ground/experience, and how your background can help us win military contracts." Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There wasn't any negotiation. They made me an offer and I accepted.

Interview Details – Spoke at length with hiring manager, HR, and supervisor-to-be. Easy, informal session ... "tell us about yourself and your experiences. How do they relate to this position? What do you expect you'll be bringing, skill and experience wise, to the position?
Interview Question – Didn't really have any that fall into those categories. I was asked to speak to my relevant background and experience. There were no questions regarding my past, any problems I may have had, etc. I could tell they were eager to hire me. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There wasn't any negotiations regarding my salary. The company told me how much they would pay and there was no allowance for further discussion. I was told at a later date (when I asked my supervisor) that if I had turned down the job due to salary, that I wouldn't have been hired. They had others who had already said they would accept the same or lower salary and they would have hired them in lieu of me. That said, I was very happy with the salary offer.
Pros: I really appreciate the people I work with. 95% of the people I've worked with have been friendly, and helpful with explaining issues/problems. The work-life balance is really great too. 9/80 schedule helps with that, but for the most part, there… – Full Review
