Interviewed Jan 2012 in Houston, TX (took a day)
They were to the point, and did not ask any useless question, such as describe yourself or what is your greatest strength/weakness...Everything was technical, and job related. They were very understanding regarding the level of experience.

The interview began by the interviewer asking me to describe myself. They then described the position and typical job responsibilities. Then they asked me for an example where I, as a leader, was faced with a difficult situation and how I overcame it. FInally, they fielded questions.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
I was hired in straight from college so the interview process was somewhat typical. KBR came to my school's campus to do a 1 on 1 interview. After that session was complete, I was invited to the KBR office to do a series of what they call "round robin" interview. This is basically a chance to have several KBR employees interview you in short segments so a combined decision can be made. After completing this step, I received a phone call asking if I would be interested in taking a position higher than what I was interviewing for. I accepted.

Negotiation Details
The negotiation phase was brief and to the point. When I received my final phone offer, we negotiated salary right then and there. I feel it was fair to both parties and it was nice that I didn't have to jump through several hoops to get what I wanted.

The interview consisted of a Background Check, a Drug Test, a Group/Panel Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Phone Interview.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Got the interview through the University Career Fair, interviewed the next day. A mix of company pitch and job description as well as a few technical questions about control systems. The guy was very relaxed and attentive. Told I will be hearing something in November but its almost Nov. and haven't had a response. Overall good experience

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Houston, TX (took a day)
I was chosen to attend a campus recruiting event. The interview was entirely behavioral. They did not expect you to know anything about control systems. The recruiter was surprised to see that I had done multiple projects on control systems. The interview was more about the recruiter explaining the job description than a serious interview. Go prepared with questions otherwise your not going to make an impression.
