Interviewed Oct 2011 in Miami, FL (took 3 weeks)
I applied through campus recruiting. Filled out application online and received notice of an interview request from them through my school's career website. After scheduling my interview I received an invitation to a Pre-Interview Event. The event was business casual and I got to meet my interviewer along with other KPMG employees; snacks and refreshments were provided. They played music and we also got to play a game; prizes (KPMG cups) were given to the winning groups. Most of the people were nice although I did come across a few that were a little stand-offish. The interview process was pretty basic. I waited in a room with chairs until my interviewer came to get me. They asked very basic interview questions and nothing about the company. They asked questions like "Describe your experience working in a team," "Explain a time when someone asked you to do something unethical, how did you approach the situation?," and they also asked about strengths/weaknesses.

1 Phone Interview - HR.
1 Phone Interview - Risk Consulting Director
3 in Person - 30 min interviews. 1 Manager, 1 Snr Mgr and 1 Partner.
Resume review, one of the in person interview was technical, 1 was chilled out and another was with the Partner mostly wanting to get a feel of where they could staff me.
Advice would be to be yourself!

1. Initial discussion with recruiter about positions they're seeking to fill, requirements, past projects, willingness to travel, visa sponsorship, salary expectation, etc.
2. Phone interview next week with Senior Manager. Interviewer briefed about the position, resume review, questions on past projects, technical questions. Last 10mins, I was allowed to ask the interviewer any questions
3. Invited for an onsite visit 2 weeks later. Interview with Managing Director & Senior Manager. Both conversational, talking about past projects in detail, behavioral questions.
Still waiting for a reply.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 5 months)
Began with HR Manager interviewing me over the phone. Was clear and helpful throughout the process. This was followed by an accounting and language skills test and a team building exercise (pitching a tent - seems to be a favourite). A 1:1 interview at Manager level. The interview was brief - about 15 mins. The interviewer was about average in his approach. Basic stuff like how I see myself progressing, why KPMG etc. Followed by an interview at Director level which was more of an interpersonal skills test and feeling you out on how well you know the job your applying for. Also helpful info about the firm and career progression etc. Overall straightforward. Only downside was the time between meetings.

Negotiation Details
You can negotiate on time off if you're studying towards a qualification although even if it isn't in your contract the firm will most likely accomodate you. Salary at the moment is a touchy subject so tread carefully.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Skills Test.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
The company's recruiters were overwhelmingly nice and accomodating. They are just there to hear more about you. The interview was more of a conversation about you and your past experience and involvement. They have time at the end to ask questions so go prepared to ask questions. DONT BE NERVOUS.
