The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at KPMG in February 2011.

Interview Details – First round was 1:1 with a campus recruiter at my college. The next round, called the "Inside Look" program, was a day long program at the office in which I was hired. There were two 30-minute interviews with managers/partners, a group exercise session, and a speed recruiting session. The speed recruiting session was much like speed dating in which candidates would get 5 minutes to talk to managers, partners, and current associates about their experiences and what to expect. All in all, it was a fun and positive experience.

Interview Question – Why [insert city name of office]?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Since a lot of people would kill for this job and they know it, no negotiating took place.

The process took a day - interviewed at KPMG in November 2010.

Interview Details – On campus interview. I met with a senior manager. I was supposed to meet a partner, but the partner went back to office after the morning and this senior manager came to the campus to take place of him. The interviewer just asked general questions.

All the candidates wait in the confrence room. The HR was also in the room, doing her work and answered recruiting questions. She is very friendly.

Interview Question – Tell me about you self. Why do you choose Accounting rather than Tax for Master's degree?   Answer Question

The process took 7 weeks - interviewed at KPMG in October 2008.

Interview Details – I went through the interview process first through the campus recruiting and got the invite for an office interview soon after. I was interviewing for an summer internship in the tax department. The office in the Brewery district (in Columbus) is very modern and very close to the Blue Jacket stadium. I thought the interviews were very relaxed with most of the questions focusing on interest in accounting and some of my past accounting experience. I would have loved to work for KPMG in Columbus as they seem like the top of the Big 4 in that area.

Interview Question – What do you like about accounting and what do you want to achieve from interning with KPMG?   Answer Question
