Interview Question – The most difficult to answer questions was one when I was asked to provide 5 most important things in a workplace and list them according to priorities. As I was well prepared to all technical questions they weren't challenging for me.   Answer Question

Audit Assistant Interview

Audit Assistant
Novosibirsk (Russia)

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at KPMG US in June 2009.

Interview Details – At first, I found the opportunity on KPMG website and filled an application form. As a result, I got short telephone conversation with one of KPMG HRs. She invited to KPMG office to answer their tests (English, Logic, Math). Logic and Math were typical SAT multiple-choice question, whereas in English test I had an essay. I got a mail from KPMg several days later with congratulations of passing these tests.
Then I nad interview with HR - it was wuite simple, just basic questions: "Why KPMG? Why are you interested in audit?" and so on. As I realized after, it was just a test of your communication skills rather than any questions related to audit.
The last step was interview with Director and Partner. I was quite nervous, but passed it. I had some questions about accounting and audit: "Could you imagine a balance sheet of the company holding this office building? What are main problems in audit job?". And also there was small conversation in English to test my speaking skills.

Interview Question – Imagine a balance sheet of the company holding the building we're sitting here. Could you describe it? What are major lines in a balance sheet and income statement?   Answer Question
