    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at KPMG US (Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)) in September 2013.

    Interview

Graduate program. I was invited to an open evening before the interview where you can talk with current employees. At the interview we were given laptops and had a task to write about two topics in 30mins. The questions were like: You have €1 million to start a company, what type of company would you start and why? What would you do if you were the minister for finance? Then there were two hour long interviews where they asked for examples of when you worked in a team etc. They also asked me about a couple of different companies, you should have at least three prepared and not the one on your application form. The tone of both interviews was very relaxed.

    Interview

I had to fill out a very long internet form. I didn't get past this stage and I was given no feedback as to why. I think they are looking for the cheapest people they can get, because I met the requirements they specified, but may have been overqualified with a PhD.

    Application

The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at KPMG US (Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)) in February 2013.

    Interview

3 interviews and one Excel test. Generally pleasant; however after 3 interviews with the same person I would have appreciated a personal call rather than through HR.

Excel test, which caught me out, was straightforward but I found it too long to complete. They generally want appointments at this level to bring clients with them, but were prepared to make an exception

    Interview Questions

    • As mentioned, Excel was long;   1 Answer

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at KPMG US (Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)) in August 2011.

    Interview

Application form online. Then 2 interviews. One with an Associate Director or Director and the other with the function partner.

The online application was a bit tedious asking for all your leaving cert results and college results. You do need a min of 450 pts to get in and better to have 500+ or have a masters in accounting

    Interview Questions

    • The most difficult was why KPMG and then why accounting. They also put pressure on any areas of academia you haven't been great at.   1 Answer
