I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Kana in July 2012.
Interview Details – Applied for Kana's PR intern through their website and called to follow up. Received an invitation for an in-person interview. However, after telling me that I was accepted, there was a two week delay and finally, the secretary notified me that the position could not be moved forward at the time.
Interview Question – The interviewer simply showed me some videos describing Kana and what the marketing and pr time were responsible for. The interview was very short and there were no difficult or unexpected question. It was rather easy but it is important to be thoroughly prepared to talk about yourself and experience. Answer Question

Interview Details –
First was telephonic interview. For personal interview went down to their office for interview, the interviewer didnt even knew that an interview was scheduled.. This was right from HR to team who was going to interview. How unprofessional!
Later I was interviewed by CTO and the mentioned that we move to this point when we are finalizing. After asked for coming and understanding how they work, they promised on sending the offer letter. VP personally shook hands and mentioned that. Then no response from HR and suddenly one day, rechanging their decision.
I had a very horrible experience. People are just rude..! Dont even think of going and joining this company.
Reason for Declining – Promised for offer letter and kept changing their words. Had horrible experience with such unprofessional ppl and work..Those are thinking of getting interviewed I would suggest please look for some other company. Giving word and minding it, isn't understood by Kana.

My advice is try to negotiate salary at this point because it is almost impossible to get raise or promotion
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Kana in May 2013.
Interview Details – The face-to-face interview is only just 1 session. They set another session with the user abroad using global meet (toll free call). The initial interview is the toughest since it will be focusing more on how can we cope with the demands that they had. While the second interview mostly focused on the technical abilities that we had, which also includes interpersonal skills.
Interview Question – The business process and the flow in which we will encounter if we are accepted. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Fairly simple but the numbers are very limited
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 5 months - interviewed at Kana.
Interview Details –
I was initially contacted in June for the job opportunity and was told I would receive a call back in the next couple of days to schedule an in person interview.
Finally I was called back by a different manager 4 months later. Apparently they were undergoing a reorg when I was initially contacted.
I met with the manager and 4 peers. I was asked some standard tech questions relating to Java, databases, and OS. Nothing too in depth.
Interview Question – I was asked some basic questions regarding Java structures, basic database mechanics, and basic OS mechanics. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – They made one offer and basically said take it or leave it.
The process took 1 week - interviewed at Kana in May 2012.
Interview Details – The interview process moved very quickly. The interview was more conversational than an interview and they hardly asked me any practical, job-related questions at all. I felt in the driver's seat controlling the conversation most of the time, which was a little awkward.
Interview Question – If hired, how would you get started in this role? Answer Question
I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Kana in August 2010.
Interview Details – After initial phone call with hiring manager, had a conference call interview with 2 engineers. The questions they asked were very nit-picky and I wasn't impressed with the way they were handling the interview. Felt like they were more interested in getting a specific type of answer vs trying to understand my experience. After the call, I was pretty sure there wasn't a match from either side.
Interview Question – Very specific technical question Answer Question
