30 minute interview took place on campus. Very casual and personal. First half, the interviewer talked about kiewit and projects he was involved in. Second half, questions were asked of me about kiewit and why I want to and am fit for the position.

I handed them a resume at a career fair and the contacted me over a month later to schedule an interview. The first process consisted of a one on one interview with an engineer in the office. The second process was an interview with some higher ups and an HR person.

I got the interview through a career fair held at our university. They had an info session the previous night, so that we all knew what we were getting ourselves into. The interview was very relaxed and he had a standard set of question he asked me. Went over my resume and asked me to give him more info about my experiences. He was very helpful and told me to email him if I had anymore questions.

My interviewer was an alumnus of our university and made the interview a low-key, informal Q & A process. The questions we asked about his "days on the job" were helpful in determining the final decision to accept the position at Kiewit.

I loved the opportunities and training options presented - Kiewit really does care about its employees. Safety first (always).
