Interview Details – Very straight forward and by the book. It was educational and open minded a very refreshing approach. It was the first time I honestly became educated during an interview. It was a great process. The safety alone was Amazing and refreshing.
Interview Question – It would be the re quoting of all the information shortly after the interview, how ever it was the step procedures involved and the entire commitment of all staff and employees that made the process smooth and easy to pick up in a short time. The question that I had to take time on was `what do you want to be in this company? It was hard to say at first due to the fact of all the Amazing options, like a kid in a candy store. Interview Details – Kiewit came to my college recruiting and giving classes on what direction Kiewit was heading. After the classes they invited a group of interested people out to lunch to talk more about the company. I attended the lunch and got an email a couple weeks later asking if I would like to fly out to Denver for an interview. I accepted and sat in a hotel for many hours and was interviewed by 3 people. The interview was very formal I wore a suit etc. The guys were pretty nice and down to earth.

Negotiation Details – Very easy negotiation phase I talked with the HR lady and everything was handled. One difficult aspect was that they did not know where I would be moving to until 1 week before I started, which made moving stressful.

Interview Details – I submitted an application on a Friday, had an interview the following week and was hired the week after that. Overall, the process was pretty standard, I met with the hiring manager and another individual from the marketing department. They asked for a few work and writing samples and asked the typical behavioral questions and the interview lasting just over an hour.
Interview Question – Explain a situation when a project didn't go as planned and what was the outcome. Answer Question

Interview Details – I had an on-campus interview with Kiewit at CU-Boulder after meeting with them at the career fair. The interview was slightly more laid back than others I have had, which was very nice and relieving. The questions were all very reasonable and almost all situational and behavioral questions. There were two interviewers, and both seemed very interested in me, giving me great confidence.

Interview Details – Kiewit is persistent in continuing to recruit experienced personnel when identified. Interviewed twice prior to offered a salary. Company failed to adhere to certain promises offered during the hiring process and did not follow through to make sure that long or short term goals could be accomplished.
Interview Question – What is the most important thing the company could do to assure employee retention? View Answer
Negotiation Details – At the time, the weekly salary was offered was very attractive, only to find out later that it only benefited the company.
