I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation.
Applied online. Requested to complete HireVue video interview (It's baffling that a company the size of Kiewit cannot take the time to interview in person, and make you use an app to record your responses to interview questions). After the one-way video interview I had to complete a personality questionnaire and IQ test. The instructions were poor which didn't really set me up for success in providing my best answers. Overall, the interview process was quite disappointing. Despite being more than adequately qualified and experienced for this position (I exceeded all the requirements listed on the job description), no offer was received. I can only imagine that they were looking to hire an intern that commands a lower level of pay.
- A few questions such as why I thought I had the required experience for the job, where I saw myself in 5 years, etc. Nothing challenging. Answer Question

The person at the front desk was not welcoming when I first walked in but instead seemed annoyed I was standing in front of her. Interviewing here was NOT a good experience. The two HR representatives I met with didn't make it much better. They where very condescending and would not let me finish my answers to their questions. All in all, I recommend hiring associates who are more people/client oriented.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation in July 2015.
Submitted resume and filled out job app. Received an email a few days later to give a hirevue interview. This is a video interview with scripted questions. I thought about it for a couple of days and ultimately decided if this company can't spend the time to phone screen a candidate then I don't want to waste my time on them either. They are pushing all the effort onto the candidate without investing any time themselves. Almost felt like they are herding cattle.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation (Houston, TX) in June 2015.
The interview process is a HireVue Video Module. They send this after your Peoples Answer Assessment. It was fairly easy just please be sure to wear interview clothes when you do your HireVue interview process and smile.
- How do you feel your qualifications and background match up with this position. This question was tricky so be sure to research the job and match your qualifications with it. Answer Question

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation (Brea, CA) in May 2015.
I first met with them at my college career fair. They emailed me back 2 weeks later scheduling a phone interview. The phone interview only lasted 15 mins. The next step was to do a hirevue one way interview. Its really awkward because its so impersonal and there is no interaction with anyone on the other side.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation (Lenexa, KS) in May 2015.
I was contacted and set up an interview first with their HireVue system and then was contacted by phone. They HireVue computer system was very awkward and unpleasant. You have to watch yourself and once you've answered you can't change or re-do your answers. And if you computer doesn't work with their system is makes it even more nerve racking. The phone interview on the other hand was pleasant and very informative.
- What I felt my weakness was and what my strengths were relating to Human Resources. Answer Question

I applied online. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation in April 2015.
Process started with a cognition test and personality survey. This part of the process took about half an hour. Received a response the next day to conduct an online interview through HireVue. This consisted of taking a video recording of myself answering five questions. The online interview is somewhat awkward, you are given 30 seconds to prepare your response to the question and then have three minutes to answer. You only get one attempt to answer the question which can make it stressful if you aren't prepared for the question.
- State your school and your major. Why did you choose to pursue this major? What are your thoughts on travel and relocation? Name a time you worked on a group project and what role you had. Answer Question

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation.
I interviewed for an equipment management intern position the day after a career fair. Questions were very standard, describe a situation or strength and weakness questions. The interviewers were clearly a little tired, as they had likely done at least 15 interviews that day. I would've liked to talk more about technical information or resume details, it's tough for candidates to stand out when questions are pretty vanilla.
- Describe a time you had a differing opinion from someone and how you handled it. Answer Question

Went to the company headquarters and got a group tour. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I got a tour of one of the projects that they are currently working on and then an explanation of the benefits from the company. I also got to meet a new hire that explained to me his perspective on the job.
- Would you be willing to relocate if the opportunity arose? Answer Question

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kiewit Corporation in February 2015.
Held an HR screening and then did the video interview in which I had to answer questions on video for them and submit. You do not have the questions prior and only have 1 minute to prepare before the video begins to record. You cannot stop the recording and you do not get to do it again. It is completely impromptu. It does simulate the in person interview. It is also weird seeing yourself in the camera as you are answering the question. This is definitely a new skill that needs to be practiced.
