Interview Details –
I learned of the company and this opportunity through university recruiting and a career fair. I dropped my resume with them after stopping by their booth at the career fair and chatting with a young employee. I was then invited a few days later via email for an on-campus interview. There was a mixer the night before the interview with young employees a year removed from college and some upper level management. This is a laid back environment in which they just want to see if you can be social and keep a conversation going.
The first interview was on-campus and lasted 30 minutes. This mainly consists of standard behavioral interview questions. If you have any internship or professional experience, they prefer to see you relate to those experiences in your answers. I was then selected a week later via email inviting me to interview for the second and final round on-site in Roswell, Ga.
The final round consists of four consecutive interviews with different members of various divisions within KC. There is a break after your third interview, and this is when you will take a campus tour and eat lunch with some of the young employees. Within the four interviews, three are back to back with final one occurring after lunch. Three interviews are behavioral and there is one generic basic case study in which you read through many emails and pick out relevant information regarding a particular project and make a final recommendation.

Interview Details –
Applied via my university job board. This appeared to be a pre-screening interview; I passed and was referred to sign up via a website and would wait for the second round of interviews. I did not make it to the second round as I think I waited too long to sign up (+1 week), so definitely apply early. Interview was very relaxed, was with the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions.
Interviewer had a list of questions and wrote down the responses.

Interview Details –
The interview process covers basic behavioral questions, ie. How did you react in X situation? How do you deal with conflict? One interview was a bit more technical, ie. Explain rate of return to a non finance person. Overall, a relaxed environment and a great insight into company culture.
I was flown into Roswell the day before and stayed in a hotel down the street. At about 9, I began a string of interviews with members of my potential department. Each lasted about 45 min. At lunch, I spoke with employees in the position I applied for. After lunch I had one final interview and I was finished by about 3pm. They drove me to the airport and I departed for another interview in another state.
They were very flexible with travel arrangements. I did not have to return to my city of origin (Houston), they flew me to Miami where I had another interview. Furthermore, once I accepted the offer, they reimbursed me for travel expenses even though I hadn't requested it.

Interview Details – The process for me began at my university's career center and my first interview occured on campus. The intial interview was behavioral with personality questions and was just the interviewer getting a feel for my motivation and drive as an individual. The second interview was on the K-C campus and was approximately 5 hours long comprised of one-on-ones with a few analysts, business analysts and a director of finance. This interview was much more intense with technical questions on NPV analysis and Return on Investment questions as well as a simulation of a mill problem. The individuals who interviewed me were friendly and easy to talk to on both a personal and professional level during every interview.
