Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 1+ week)
Responded to an advertisement via email with the District Manager. Met with the District Manager, had an offer two days later in my email. A majority of the interview process was spent filling out paperwork, waiting for background checks and waiting for the company to catch up with their own paperwork.

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Alexandria, VA (took 6+ weeks)
I called the manager to see if she was hiring...she emailed me an application. Couple of days later she called me for interview. After a month she said everything turned out good but couldnt hire me because it was slow. She led me to believe I had the job but nothing.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took a day)
I wasn't given an interview. They just hired me on the spot. But I will tell you this, if you want to apply for KinderCare, you want to go in with a positive attitude. First impressions are everything. Understand that KinderCare isn't just a babysitting job, it is a learning center.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
If you have a degree and they offer you $12.00, ask for more. If you have a great resume and had an amazing interview, ask for a little more - sometimes KinderCare is desperate in hiring people.
