I got the interview from submitting my resume on the University career center website. I was sent an email for the first interview, which was 1 on 1 interview. During the interview the recruiter asks basic questions about your resume, also asks questions about what you like to do, and what you don't. Also asks where you see yourself in a couple of years. The interview atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

I was first interviewed over the phone. That went very well. The company then wanted to fly me to Washington from my home in Arizona. They also wanted my wife to come to take a look at the area. We flew to Washington and then I attend a two day in depth interview, which also went well, mostly because I was very prepared and had the experience they were looking for.

Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate, but I unfortunately only focused on my relocation and salary. I know now that I could have negotiated on my vacation time as well.
I would suggest to anyone applying and negotiating with Kinross to also negotiate their vacation time.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
