Interviewed May 2011 in Fullerton, CA (took a day)
There were 10 of us being interviewed in the same room with the manager. He was about 30 minutes late an we wer all just sitting in the room getting to know eachother. When he came in he sat at a table infront of us and asked us different questions in no particular order. As he was doing this, he was placing our apps in different piles. The interview was very very easy and lasted about 45 minutes. The manager left again and was literally gone for another 30 minutes with us all in that room. When he finally came back, he told everyone they could leave except for 6 of us who " filled out some paperwork incorrectly". When the others left he told us that we got the job and we filled out tax forms and other things. We also sulet up our training dates(not very informative at all).

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I did a walk-in to ask if they were hiring and to turn in a resume. The store manager told me they were hiring for the season and that I could apply online. I told her I would apply online later that day and turned in a resume. They called me within a week for an interview. They did not say, but it was a group interview.
My interview was at 3pm and about 7 candidates showed up. The interview questions were exactly as the ones posted on this website; however, the store manager did not ask the hard questions. She asked questions about customer service and behavioral situations.
The group interview may seem really formal because the manager shoots a question and candidates take turns answering one by one. My advice would be for you to break that formality any way you can, and show enthusiasm. Do not show up with things-to-say memorized, instead show up prepared to have a real conversation about what type of worker you are. And keep in mind that what you say is not as important as exuding that you are a likable, agreeable, confident, positive person.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Ladera Ranch, CA (took a day)
They had a group of us in a room and asked us a series of standard questions in order to figure out what kind of employees we'd make. Then we were separated into two groups both of which were asked to fill out paper work, the only difference is that one group was hired and the other was not.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 1+ week)
Interviewed with two managers, questions were quick and basic- I was applying during their busiest season. They asked how I felt about theft, what my transportation situation was, and gave several customer service scenarios to which you had to tell how you would respond. They then start a background check, which takes about a week. They called me back pretty much a week later and offered me a job. The managers were friendly enough, the office and breakroom were bright and friendly. Nothing to be scared of.
