It was a great job in the beginning but then it turned out kind of shakey for me because the managers were showing favoritism and giving out certain amount if hours to who they wanted to but claiming that the computer was doing it.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Milwaukee, WI (took 2 days)
Went up the night before the interviews for dinner and to network with people who work there- very casual. Then the following day we had 3 one on one interviews, and a group interview/presentation. They also had a few presentations from buying offices, former merchant analysts and lunch. Overall a very fun process.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Menomonee Falls, WI (took 2 months)
Though my University career fair I was able to submit my application directly to University Relations staff and have the chance to talk one on one with a few of the current employees. Overall they were very nice and excited to be talking to all of the students. There were a few recruiters who seemed less interested, but in general all of the recruiters were very friendly.
Next I received notification of an on campus interview. The interview was with two Kohl's corporate staff. I believe one was from the OSA team and the other was from another related area of the company. The interview lasted about a half hour and consisted mainly of behavioral and get-to-know-you questions. My advice for this interview is to be very personable, relax, and really try to show who you are and why you are excited about Kohl's. They will ask you about times you failed, succeeded, lead a team, had a problem with a team and how you handled it, very simple questions. They will taylor any other questions specifically to your resume, so be honest, upbeat, and sincere.
Next I was contacted by the head of University Relations that I had been moved to the next and final round of interviews to take place at Kohl's corporate headquarters. They were very generous in setting me up in a hotel, providing transportation, and taking all of the prospective interns to dinner the night before. The day of interviews they provided bus transportation to headquarters for all of the candidates. During the day they made sure we had breakfast and lunch, gave us group tours of their amazing building, and had a couple presentations by VP level employees as well as a departmental panel discussion. There were roughly 150 other candidates that day, all together, for all of the various department internships. For the communications department specifically we were separated off during part of the day for three one-on-one interviews with managers and a VP of the department. They were very conversational in style and focused on seeing how well you would fit into the corporate culture. For this round of interviews, really relax and focus on showing how you fit into the culture that they present to you that day. They focus on being a team player, leadership, initiative, and going the extra mile on anything you do. They are not a competitive environment, and they will most likely be turned off if you give them that vibe.

Bid for an on campus interview. Got campus interview. Was accepted for second rounds. They flew me to headquarters for a weekend. Had dinner the first night- 7 students interviewing to 1 Kohl's employee per table. Second day was a number of presentations with 3 or 4 one on one interviews with employees of varying levels in the hierarchy.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Milwaukee, WI (took 2 weeks)
It was an incredible casual interview. The interviewer was very nice and just seemed like she wanted to get to know me and see if i would fit in with their company culture. A few situational questions but really not to many. The second round was in Milwaukee and was significantly more formal. It was much more about what i would do in certain marketing situations and things like that. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Menomonee Falls, WI (took 3 days)
I sent my resume and cover letter to one of the campus recruiters. She set up an interview with me. When I answered the phone, it was a man, instead. The caught me off guard a little bit. He introduced himself as one of the Kohl's Marketing managers. He seemed really snippy and rude. Then he said "I have your resume in front of me. I want you to take the floor for about 7 min telling me about it." I was shocked. So for 7 minutes he did not talk at all. I felt like I was talking to myself. Which in essence I was. One time about 5 minutes into the interview I asked if he was still there. He replied with a stiff "Yes." I should've just hung up the phone then. But I continued on. He asked me why marketing and I responded. And then he asked if I had any questions for him. I started to say, "I just wanted to say that I really want to have this internship because...." and then he cut me off. "Do you have any questions for me?" I then asked some questions and he gave quick answers. He was either having a bad day or just hated me. But I've never had a bad interview before, he just seemed like a horrible person.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Menomonee Falls, WI (took 4+ weeks)
Interviewed via telephone with a nice, but in-over-his-head HR rep who had just graduated from college. Very basic interview with someone who obviously had no idea what lawyers did all day. Obviously there was a need for some in-house legal oversight of the search process in this case, but there appeared to be none. On the plus side, they were efficient in their communications with me.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Menomonee Falls, WI (took 3 days)
I applied through my university's career center. I met with them at job fair as well. They offered me an on campus interview, it was pretty casual. She let me just freely talk about my work experience and educational background. She asked me 1 behavioral question - "tell me about a time you mentored someone?".
Although the interview process was fine, I find pretty much everyone I've met with at Kohl's to be kind of fake and sleezy. They think they are the best and just treated us like stupid students.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Menomonee Falls, WI (took 5 weeks)
A friend of mine recommended me to the staffer who was recruiting for the position. I was initially contacted by the recruiter and scheduled a phone screen with her. Following the phone interview, I was flown in for an in-person interview. The interview was all day and I interviewed with several people (five to be exact) and also included a writing test.
