Interviewed Mar 2009 in Greenville, TX (took a day)
It was a set of three interviews in a big room at small tables. They ask a lot of information on what type of programs I had worked on at school. Also was question on basic java stuff like print statements and lots basic. I would just review the basic (CSC 120) or focus the interview on a language you are very comfortable with. A friend was ask about pointer so would know the basic.

Reason for Declining
They really didn't do a great job of selling the company to me. They were the third defense contractor i interviewed with and didn't complete. However, I had two friend who did intern there and love it said is was a relax environment and didn't take much to impress.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Skills Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Greenville, TX (took 2 days)
I was first contacted for an on campus interview. This interview consisted of some of my interests, some of my skills, general design questions, and more behavioral questions. The next interview consisted of an on site interview. While there, I toured the facility, was shown demos, and had 3 interviews. My interviews were with an Engineer, a Team Lead, and a Department Lead. The interviews consisted of mostly behavioral questions and questions about my designs. They were also very big on team work and knowing how you interact in a team setting.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 4+ weeks)
I was called by Directors admin to set up a 30 min phone screen. They provided me with several spots to speak with the Director. Spoke with Director; we had a 20 minute conversation with a few questions asked, she seemed interested and that I would be contacted. HR called within a day and asked if I was interested, I said yes, Very Much so. They were concerned about the relocation. See, I live on the beach in central FL and this position is in Salt Lake City....SNOW and cold. I am prepared to leave for the right position and Salt Lake provides for many outdoor activities which I love, anyways, I can come back to FL after I retire. Ok, then I was contacted by their travel coordinator within two days after speaking to HR. I had a couple of choices and was out in Salt Lake within two weeks. All accommodations and transportation was perfect. I spoke to 4 managers under the director (director was on travel and did not have the opportunity to meet her). I had about 30 minutes with each person and I gave a 15 min presentation (presentation skill assessment). I spoke to HR afterwards....everything (I believed at that time) was going my way. After about a week HR had me call them. Unfortunately they decided to pursue another candidate and I received no feedback on interview itself. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed; I had expectations of at least an offer. The job opening still exists 6 weeks after I interviewed.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 2 months)
I was first contacted 2 months after speaking with representatives at a Fall Career Fair. I had a phone interview with them in December, after which they said they had not decided on whether they would be conducting face to face interviews. They came back to my campus for the Winter Career Fair, and I interviewed with 2 engineers and an HR rep then. I was told I would hear back from them within 1-2 weeks, but did not recieve my offer until nearly 4 weeks. All in all, it was a positive experience, as communication back and forth was generally good, save for the delay in hearing back after the final interview.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Anaheim, CA (took 4 weeks)
- They took their own sweet time to get back
- interview scheduling was professional
- HR came at the last minute, but was sweet and apologetic
- all persons were professional but demanding on technical and other skills assessment
- All of them spent 30 minutes and were courteous and professional
- Manager was easy to talk to but tough as necessary
- Problem is - they take at least 2-3 months to decide; they said I am still in running and I will be called for 2nd interview if selected
- I have still not received any response

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Greenville, TX (took a day)
Arrived to meet many other interviewees...One or two others for my position, many others for other positions. Probably too many for any given day as HR was constantly scrambling and making changes to their changes.
After much ado, several of us were escorted to a conference room where an HR generalist explained company benefits. We were given fact sheets as well and we went over each benefit line by line.
The hiring manager then came in, and then one at a time we were summoned into antoher conference room where a one on one interview was held.
Then I was met by a fellow Team Leader who provided a tour of the facility, including the hangars and was brought into an aircraft where work was being performed.
The hiring manager returned and explained some of the particulars of what the position would entail. He then escorted me in his own personal automobile back to the main building lobby and asked me to have a seat.
After about a half-hour, another gentleman came in and escorted me to another conference room where a series of questions were asked.
Then I was escorted back out to main lobby. After about 45 minutes, an HR rep escorted me to room with 3 gentlemen already there. They too, asked me a series of questions. One question I remember vividly was "Why did you not make chief" (CMSgt)? I had a difficult time answering that question because I felt my retired rank should not have anything to do with my ability to perorm this job, and my outstanding track record should speak for itself.
When the interview was over, I was escorted back to HR where salary questions were asked.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Greenville, TX (took a day)
Gave my resume out to the company at a career fair and was able to talk to someone who forwarded my resume to Liason Engineering. Was contacted about 2 weeks later and sent to their site in Greenville, TX. I met with a number of different individuals and each one gave me a quick behavioral interview [<20 min]. (Give me a time when..., tell me about yourself, etc). I believe I talked with about 4 different people, but only 1 of them actually wrote down anything during my interview. In between, I was given a site tour and lunch with other employees of the company.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The offer was very good (60k for a starting position) with the benefits one expects for a large aerospace and defense contractor. However, the location was too remote for my city-life background. There also didn't seem to be a good work-life balance. A lot of people said they worked around 80 hours a week.
