Interviewed Mar 2012 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
Very fast process, from time of application took only a few days before interviews were set up. Interview format was three thirty minute interviews, consisting of 2 case studies and one general interview.
Then if successful the next week they give you a presentation and take you out to dinner with the other candidates. Then you have two thirty minute interviews with the partners later in the week.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in City of London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
The interview consisted of two one-on-one meetings with consultants plus an easy numeric skills test.
Each meeting, in turn, consisted of a general chit-chat about past achievements, future expectations, etc. and a case interview question. I only spent a couple of days going through "Case in Point" assuming that my background as a successful PhD-level life scientist will show my analytical skills and learning abilities, even if I am not yet experienced at case problems. This was a mistake - I was not shortlisted for the next round and when I asked for feedback, I was told that my case interview performance was below their expectations, while everything else was fine. While case interviews may be the only way to screen graduates, using them as principal means to select people wishing to switch from other successful careers may not seem like the most sensible strategy. However, like it or not - if you wish to get the job at the LEK, I suggest you get some experience in case interview questions.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Boston, MA (took 2+ weeks)
On-campus interview consisted of two interviews: a business strategy case and a market sizing question.
Second rounds consisted of three interviews: business strategy case, market sizing, business strategy case.
The interviewers for the strategy cases were much more interested in your approach to thinking rather than specific numbers - so often, they asked you to walk them through your thought process.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
The on-campus interview included two different interviews. Both had cases and generally they spent 10 or 15 minutes on behavioral and the rest of the time on cases. One case was very quantitative, the other was very much grounded in strategy and didn't really involve numbers. Everyone seemed really nice and willing to help!

Interviewed Jun 2007 in Boston, MA (took 2 days)
Employee referral led to in-office visit, although I had to contact the HR person a few times first. Interviewed with 2 consultants, both PhDs in life science. 45 mins each, behavioral and cases, with the cases coming from actual projects they had worked on. LEK emphasizes quantitative analysis and the cases probe on that, but they were not too difficult. Behavioral part focuses on why LEK and how you'll fit. 2nd round was the following week with 1 manager and 2 partners. All were behavioral and cases, with more emphasis on fit. Overall, the interviewers were sharp and friendly. The work culture was focused and hard-working, everybody is pretty busy during the working day.

Interviewed Nov 2007 (took a day)
The interviewer was very laid back, but not in a good way. He was tired, underdressed, and uninterested in really asking any questions. I wonder if he had gone to campus parties the night before. They seem to specifically want only Economics majors, and those intent on becoming lawyers. Coming from an engineering background, with only an economics major, the company was not interested in analytical ability as much as they were general economics knowledge. Since they didn't really ask questions, I can't say the interview was difficult, but it's hard to impress someone with typical interview talk when they cannot seem to keep their eyes open.

Interviewed Oct 2007 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
Initial communications made at the career fair and "consulting night" on campus. After that, it consisted of applying for the position through the on-campus website. After being selected, there were two case interviews for the first round, which was held on-campus. These are each 30 minutes long, with each containing about a 15-20 minute case interview, one is more quant (market sizing), the other is more strategy focused. After that, there was a similar set of interviews during the 2nd round, located at the LEK office in Los Angeles. Here, there are 4 interviews, at least 2 cases, and 1-2 "fit" interviews, typically with engagement managers and VPs (partners)

Negotiation Details
Very little room to negotiate. L.E.K. and consulting firms in general all have very comparable offers for the Consultant position. I was, however, able to negotiate my start date, and it seemed as though there was ~flexibility up to 3 months in either direction
