I applied in-person and the process took 2+ months - interviewed at L'Oréal in February 2012.
Interview Details –
The interview took place with the HR manager responsible for the new trainees, and takes place at the office in Hoofddorp. Questions which she asked during the interview were:
- Walk me through your résumé
- Can you give examples of specific situation in your most important extra curricular activity or work experience. Answer using the STAR method
- Name your favorite marketing campaign, and explain what you like about it and why you think it is succesfuly.
- Chose a product of L'Oréal and describe it from a marketing perspective. Tell about how you would introduce and promote such a product in the market.
The feedback is supposed to be given within two weeks, which is not always met.
The overall atmosphere during the interview was very unmotivating, as it seemed as the interviewer was not interested and very distracted.
