I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at La Quinta (Jacksonville, FL) in Oct 2009
Interview
The person was nice and told me he will call me. During the interview he didn't ask many questions. I was pretty sure I got the job until he call the next week told me he hired someone with more experience than me.

Question 1
There wasn't any question that was difficult or unexpected
Very easy-going process. I was overqualified and looking for supplemental income so it was not difficult. I was honest about my situation and the questions centered around customer service. In general, they ask if you are confident with numbers and math to make sure the accounts are balanced.
Did not take long, called and got an interview the next day. Manager was initially nice and you could tell they needed people to fill their positions. That is all I have to say.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at La Quinta (Odessa, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
Was called in for an in person interview and asked a series of questions about myself and what I would do in certain situations. After the interview, the manager told me he'd call me the next day to let me know what he decides (between me and one other person). He never did! So I drove there myself and asked to speak with him, but unfortunately, he wasn't there. I had given up at that point, but he called me a few days later and asked me if I would accept the offer. The experience overall was good and not very difficult.
