LRN Sales Development Executive Interview

Posted Apr 24, 2012 2 of 2 people found this helpful

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in May 2010 – Reviewed Apr 24, 2012

Interview Details – There is plenty of mystery associated with the process. LRN likes to think of itself as an elite and exclusive club. The recruitment process reflects this. Now from the inside, I can tell you that one of the reasons the recruitment process takes so long is that there is virtually no infrastructure to support it. It is totally chaotic, ad hoc and incoherent. Add to this the fact that Dov will have the final say in most hiring decisions (where he typically says NO for any or no reason) and you have a recruitment process that is barely functioning.

Negotiation Details – Bait and switch. The recruiter said the salary would be in the XX range and the actual offer, after all the delays, screw ups and missed deadlines, was well below that. Not the best behaviour for an ethics company. I am still troubled by that initial deceitful tactic.

Other Details - I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 months.
