I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LSI (Austin, TX) in Dec 2007
Interview
Interview process was very tough. There were multiple rounds of technical questions. None of the questions required one to remember things, they were highly analytical and required me to think a lot and then provide solutions. They were not bookish questions. They explained about group, work etc in great details
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LSI (Bengaluru) in May 2015
Interview
Straight forward, slightly technical, nothing unmanageable. Decent managers with in depth experience asking very direct questions. Said they will get back to me in 2 weeks and they did. Electronics, electrical engineering concepts, power systems design, data analysis and VLSI were some of the areas of discussion.
