Interviewed Jun 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
1. Was contacted by a recruiter.
2. Went to interview at their downtown office (MCI Center / Macy's Plaza). Place was well decorated for a creative space and on the upper floors. Great views, and overall appealing location. Very easy metro access.
3. Was asked 3 interview interview questions.
1. PHP programming question involving classes (inheritance)
2. SQL question
3. Networking question
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
I did negotiate but subtlety. Before going into the interview I had asked the recruiter what salary range they were offering. When the inevitably the question came up: "What kind of salary are you looking for?" I simply added added $5k to their upper range.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Skills Test and a Background Check.
