    Firstly we had a written test consisting of 50 questions in one hour.It consists of aptitude,verbal & numerical reasoning and English.The shortlisted students were then called for Personal & Technical Interview.I think interview is all about your confidence level and your command on the basic concepts of your subject.

    Interview Details

    Larsen & Toubro for campus recruitment follows a program called as Graduate Trainee Recuritments. Recruited students are inductated as Graduate Engineer Trainees.
    College students in final year are interviewed for the same. The selection process is 3-4 stages spanning across 1-2 days. First the candidates are short listed based on academic performance. Students generally with first class in all semester/year and with only 1 oe 2 KTs are shortlisted for first stage of selection. Subsequently they are tested on their analytical, quantitative and interpretational abilities. Upon clearing this stage there are one or two rounds of interview. The interview is technical followed by technical or HR.

    Involves a writing exam initially, generally conducted in-campus and comprises many colleges together. The next step follows an HR interview where general information are asked. The technical interview follows it where a rigorous interview is done depending upon the stream of the job application.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Larsen & Toubro.

    Interview Details

    L&T conducted an Aptitude test which had three sections, namely, Quantitative, Analytical and Verbal section each section having 25 questions and 20 minutes were alloted per section. It had sectional cut-offs. After clearing the aptitude test, there was one interview round. It was blend of HR and Technical interview. The questions were related to the topics studied in the second and third year of Engineering. The interviewers focused more on the practical aspect of any concept.

    Initially there was an aptitude test following a preliminary screening based on CGPAs and other criteria specified. Following selection in the test there was a single Technical-cum-HR interview. The interview was nearly 45 mins long in my case and was nearly 90% technical.

    Interview Details

    The first stage was a written test, including verbal, aptitude and quantitative ability. Only the top 30 eligible students from each branch were allowed for this. Out of which 20 were selected for the PI round. The panel consisted of two persons, one HR and one from Technical background. Several rounds both HR and Technical questioning was done. But the simplicity and friendlyness of the panel was very comforting. They stress more on one's ability to work in any place across India.

    Interview Details

    There were totally 3 rounds, Aptitude Test, HR and Technical Interview. The aptitude test is straight forward, containing analytical and reasoning type questions. HR is swift and easy, followed by an intense technical round, that needs a lot of preparation.
