Interviewed at Laser Spine Institute
Interview Details – Applied and got call quickly from nice recruiter. I got decent impression of company, other than the cartoon porn in a messy meeting room. Interview moved quickly. Got job offer and accepted but things changed immediately. Many of benefits I was promised changed once i got job and people in general were not good. Was a miserable place to work. Like the place where all the college grads go who can't find a job. I recommend asking for 20% more than they offer for all the nonsense and extra hours you'll have to put up with from horrible mgrs.
Interview Question – What would you do if you couldn't do what you specialize in? What do you do in your free time and on weekends? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiation was a low-ball offer. I pressed for more and still got less than what I knew I was worth. Regretted it later when I saw I was doing the work of 3 people and constantly taking on work my boss didn't feel like doing. Also required to work events after hours and on weekends that had nothing to do with my skill set.
