I applied through a staffing agency and the process took a day - interviewed at Lash Group in October 2013.
Interview Details – They conducted a group interview with me and 4 other candidates. Most of the questions are very straight forward..mostly scenario questions to see how you behave when you feel overwhelmed with work and how did you deal with upset customer.
Interview Question – They didn't ask any difficult question, the most difficult one is to use 2 sentences to describe what the company does, but this is such a simple question! Answer Question
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Lash Group in January 2013.
Interview Details – Hired through Aerotek. One in-person interview by a panel of 2 employees. They seek to ask what you presently know about the company and the job position. Additional questions include what your college major and interests are. Fairly short interview only lasted 30 minutes. They hire many college grads and majority of staff are in their mid 20's. Good stepping stone for an entry level position/ college grad. Corporate setting with casual dress attire.
Interview Question – What is something you have tried for the first time? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Tried to negotiate salary, due to traveling expenses. Was not able to compromise further.
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Lash Group in July 2012.
Interview Details –
1) Phone interview with HR Manager. Basic questions, non-role related.
2) 2nd round Phone with HR Manager - more role-specific questions, but since HR person not familiar with day-to-day activities, not too in depth
3) Phone with Hiring Manager - Manager was not familiar with my resume, and tried to solicit me for a different position I did not apply for. Mid interview, emailed her my resume and supplemental material.
4) Face to face with Director - Very short (<10 mins). My impression is she wanted to get a personal impression of me.
Negotiation Details – Tried to negotiate, HR manager was set on offer.
The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Lash Group in March 2009.
Interview Details –
This was an internal interview. Summing up previous interviews for a promoted position I can tell you that each one has been different. It is not a standardized process and could definitely be improved (one phase of the interview was done over the phone - not very professional in my opinion.
The date stated for a final decision was not met, in fact, it extended to almost double the waiting period with no updates. Again, not very professional. Interview questions were well positioned, one of the few pluses I can give to the process.
Interview Question – Give me one word your previous supervisors would use to describe you? One word your peers would use to describe you? One word you would use to describe yourself? Answer Question
