I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at LensCrafters in June 2014.

Interview Details – I went into the store with my cousin who was choosing a frame. I was having a casual conversation with one of the associates who asked me if I wanted to apply. I applied in the store, and a week later the manager called me for an interview. During the interview she asked me to tell her a little about myself and told me I had the job. There were no other questions.

I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at LensCrafters in January 2014.

Interview Details – There seems to be a disconnect between their recruiters and hiring mangers. Individuals with a lot of experience are not called back and scheduling an interview can take weeks. The interview process is a panel interview over the phone with the Zone VP and two other regional managers.

Interview Question – Nothing out of the ordinary, want to know what your performance management looks like, and specific examples of how you got a team on board with an initiative.   Answer Question

Interview Details – I had my interview with two managers, went well, i was excited, they said I would hear from them. I was called for a second interview, it also went well. After that it was horrible, no communication, lack of organization, no one knew what anyone was doing. Very unprofessional! ,

Reason for Declining – I actually countered because they came back very low on pay, and I had to keep calling to find out the answer. He kept saying how much he wanted me there and needed the help, but I finally became uninterested because of lack of management direction and coordination.

Interview Details – Dropped off a resume and within a week had an interview scheduled. Not sure what that says about employee retention, buuuuut... The fact the interview was so easy never led me to believe some of the employees were spawn of Satan.

Interview Question – Nothing. Management looooooooves to hear themselves talk.   Answer Question

I applied in-person and the process took 2 months - interviewed at LensCrafters in July 2012.

Interview Details – Recruited by another RM while visiting my local store, process was a bit lengthy due to current job at the time, they were patient and willing to work with my then very busy schedule, first 2 separate GM interviews were very similar with expected questions and based around answers to free style questions around past team development and successes.

Interview Question – What skill set can you bring to the table that is different that most?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Negotiated a 8% increase over initial offer.

I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at LensCrafters in March 2011.

Interview Details – My interview was on the spot as soon as I walked in asking if they were hiring. With my interview the manager looked at my resume and then after a few questions she hired me. Most of the time they will take your application and set up a group interview first and then do call backs.

Interview Question – The most difficult questions I was asked concerned the presentation of the store. I was asked how I thought it should be maintained and what it should look like when customers came in.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate, but I should have. If you push back most of the time they can give you a little more.
