Very Easy Interview
I applied in-person and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Leslie's Poolmart in July 2013.
Interview Details – I called Leslie's to ask if they were hiring. The manager at the time said that they were. I went into the store that day. I filled out the application in the store and handed it in. About 4 days later, I got a call back from the manager for an "interview." I went in, and she just asked me about what I knew about pools, if I can lift boxes and buckets, and when I could start. After getting my working papers (I was 16), I started a few days later.
Negotiation Details – I was told what I was going to get paid (about a dime above minimum wage), and that's what I got. NO negotiation possible
Very Easy Interview
I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Leslie's Poolmart in August 2011.
Interview Details – Interview went over well and management is really laid back. Overall A great job with a good chance for teens and college kids to earn some money on the side. They are always taking in application and are very easy to talk too. The only part that sucks is that now you have to apply online and take an assessment test I think.
Interview Question – Why do you want to work here? (This was my first interview ever, kind of caught me off guard because I didn't anticipate any questions) View Answers (2)
Reason for Declining – I found another job with higher pay
