Interviewed Oct 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Emails were replied to quickly. Phone interviewer called on time.
Questions from HR were a bit negative not providing an opportunity for positive dialogue.
Questions asked were not relative to my experience but rather I was asked what my previous jobs were and why I left the companies. It seemed like a strange way to start the process rather than focus on the positive attributes of my jobs and qualifications.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Eugene, OR (took 2 weeks)
Levi starts with phone interviews, then a one on one with a manager from the company...but not someone you will be working for. The next step is to have a group interview with several leads and/or managers from the hiring department. It is also common for a manager from a non-related department to attend the group interview as well. It is ok to dress causal for the interview!! if you walk into the office wearing a business suite you will look very out of place! Dress up a pair of jeans...Levi's if you've got them :)

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Gurnee, IL (took a day)
I showed about 5 minutes before the time scheduled time for the interview and was told by one of the sales associate to look around the store while they waited to see if there were more people coming for the interview. After a few minutes, the manager gathered the interviewees and checked to see who all had shown up for the interview. Then, the manager had us follow her out of the store and out into a public area of the mall with tables and chairs for the interview. She began the interview by explaining how she would be conducting her interview. The interview itself ended up consisting of two questions and then us asking her questions.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
I applied for the Information Technology Leadership Program through my colleges career center. A few weeks later I got an email from the recruiter asking for a phone interview. The phone interview was very easy and I was more told about the program and asked a few behavioral questions. She told me I would hear back from in 5 days if I would get an on-campus interview. On the 5th day I got an email telling me to sign up for interview on campus.
The on campus interview was a lot different. I ended up getting doubled teamed by an associate and the director. They asked me behavioral questions and then a bit about my technical background. We didn't connect at all. The program on paper sounds like Levi is trying to gather young talent to try new things and really change the way they use technology internally. It's complete BS, they asked me on some recent projects I mention web applications, and using companies API's to mash new products. They had no idea what I was talking about. I basically found out they want someone whose not using cutting edge technology and more a business person who will do the same old.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Group interview and we all sat in a circle to introduce ourselves to the manager and another worker who took notes. 8-9 questions asked included describing a really good customer experience, a time when you went above and beyond in customer service, what is your ideal work environment, and why you chose Levi's. The atmosphere was friendly, although you had to raise your hand and basically compete for the better answer. Thought I didn't respond as many times as other people, but the manager called back within 2 hours of my interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 weeks)
The interview was really fun; the interviewer made it really personal and made it less nervewrecking. I applied online just about a week before they called me back: I just put a lot of volunteer experience and extracurriculars since I didn't have work experience. I was really surprised that they got back to me so fast. Try not to get into all the details of why you're perfect for the job when it doesn't pertain to the question )In short, don't try to oversell yourself). Don't try to one-up others; listen respectfully and look interested and engaged.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Las Vegas, NV (took a day)
Applied online, got called back by the Stock Supervisor to come in for an interview. Went to the interview consisting of myself, two interviewers and two other interviewees. Asked general questions, "Why do you want to work for Levi's?" "Why should we hire you?" Interviewers seemed friendly enough. Was told that we would hear back from them from 2 days to a couple months if we were hired, but the next day got a rejection e-mail in the morning.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 2 weeks)
Applied for the job through a posting on Craig's List. Also, dropped off a resume in-person in order to show my face. I was contacted and given a brief phone interview with the goal of determining why I wanted to work for Levi's. I was then invited for a 1:1 interview. This lasted about an hour and consisted of pretty typical questions. I was asked to fill out a background and reference check at the end of the interview. A few days later I was invited to a phone interview with the district manager. This was fairly brief and was mostly a review of my qualifications. Finally and offer was made. The whole process took about 3 weeks.
