Interviewed Aug 2008 in Tulsa, OK (took a day)
The manager called me on the phone and asked if I was comfortable around children, if I had any photography experience, and what my availability was. I also interviewed 1:1 with a higher-up manager from the other store. I started out working Fridays and Saturdays from open to close but after proving myself as a valuable employee they were able to better accommodate my schedule.

Negotiation Details
I started at $7.75/hr and was given a raise to $8.00/hr. A year later, the rate for new employees was $8.50/hr. The turnover was terrible. I went through 4 different managers in the two years I was there. At one point I was training the new employees who were making .50 more than me an hour. I asked my manager for a raise, but she said that there was a "raise freeze" in effect. I should have quit and qualified as a re-hire so I could have made the extra .50 per hour.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Very simple: You answer a few questions about why you'd like to work there and then fill out about 6 or 7 forms. Then you watch about 45 minutes worth of informational/ training videos. Total time was about two hours.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 1 week)
Called on the phone and asked if they were hiring. She said yes and told me when the manager would be in the studio. I took in my resume and samples of my own pictures from my hobby photography. We interviewed and our personalities matched. Good people. Communication for schedule could be better.

Interviewed Jul 2008 (took a day)
Ad in local paper. Phone number with a pre-recorded message stating that all interested candidates were to report to one of two offices on one of three days at 7 am. The first part of the interview process was a group style introduction to the company with a DVD style video to introduce us to the company. Then a brief walk through of the studio and a description of the difference between Under Class and seniors. Along with a brief QnA then we went into One On One with everyone interested in continuing.

Negotiation Details
What I was able to negotiate was a slightly higher base pay because of my back ground education. However the pay was not as high as I would have liked it. A pay raise is needed.
