First round interview was two hours long with two hiring managers. The interviews were both mainly behavioral. Each person did ask one question about the retail industry. The final round interview was an onsite/half day interview at corporate headquarters. This consisted three 3-hour interviews with 2 senior analysts and one director and lunch.

The question was based on recruit, hire and staffing. The question was, " tell me how do you recruit, your hiring process. Answer, based on the position I will do the recruiting outside or inside the store. I have found that in retail your customer is the best part-time associate.

I applied online and was contacted by a corporate recruiter for a phone interview. I was then contacted for an onsite interview with six people in the department at the company including the manager - back to back for 3.5 hours. (met with them individually). the schedule changed four times. It turned out I met with only 3 of them.

An hour long screening interview by Corp. recruiter. All behavior based questions, specific to job title.
As recruiters go, very personable and informative, recruiters get paid for those hired so it seems in the industry the are not always the most informative.
Recruiter from Hr contacted me prior both had been employed with the business for more then 12 years.
Currently reviewing another offer, however recruiter did want to make a secondary appt. due to the lengthy hiring process. Recruiter said typically 2-4 weeks, recruiter didn't keep appt she requested to call me back to update me on the interviewing process.

Corporate recruiting contacted me about the position and asked if I would be interested in interviewing. My interview schedule consisted of two potential peers, an HR manager, and the hiring manager for the position (in that order). The questions asked in the interview were all standard behavioral questions ("Tell me about a time when...) and focused more on situational leadership or problem solving than technical abilities. Everyone was friendly and positive throughout the interview and also asked why I was I was interested in retail and their company specifically.

Called to check the status of the application I'd handed in a week ago. Girl on the phone said they were having a group interview the next day at 9am and I could come if I wanted. She did not ask for my name. I showed up the next day with 5 other applicants. We waited at the front doors for 15 minutes before a manager let us in. She was very rude and apologized because no one told her that she had to do an interview that morning.
