Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
I had two interviews, one over the phone and one in person. The in person interview was with two people. Then the was a grueling test. It was what I would expect from a job of this calibur. The work is intense and serious. It was only fitting that the interview process be the same.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Fort Wayne, IN (took 4 weeks)
After 3 successful phone interviews, invited to travel to Ft. Wayne for face to face. They asked that I stay 2 nights, however, when I got there, I only interviewed with 2 people (concurrently) for an hour and a half. Typical "how well will you fit into the organization" type of questions that went very well. Was told to expect a decision in a couple of days, with mention of when to start relocation activities. After waitng a week and a half, they decided not to fill the position (was told by an insider that they didn't really have enough work to justify hiring anyone). After repeated attempts, I was unable to get reimbursed for hotel, rental car and meal expenses. Feel like they wasted my time and money when they could have held off on the face to face till they were sure.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 1 week)
Received a call after initially applying online through the LFG website. Basically briefed the person on my resume and why I was interested in LFG. After this 10 minute conversation we scheduled a time for me to come in for a face to face interview. I was expecting to just sit down with the person who had called me but it ended up being 2 people interviewing me. It was a typical, behavioral, meaningless question asking interview. They had 3-4 pages of behavioral/experience type questions that they asked me which was the low part but I handled them all very well. Aside from these questions, we probably spent 40 minutes talking about experiences we shared, common interests, etc which made the interview much better. Overall good experience, I interviewed with 2 very nice people and received a formal offer within the following week. Not getting a high salary but I am happy about getting my foot in the door with this company.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took a day)
Initial phone interview was positive. Then met with several of the manager off site to discuss the opportunity. The final interview was 6 hours in length that was a presentation of business case, interview of business case and then 1:1s with management team. The week preceding the interview was a little nerve racking due to the presentation and unknown of what the presentation consisted of.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Irvine, CA (took 2 weeks)
I applied online through my colleges job website and received a call about 10 days later. I had a 10 minute phone interview with the financial advisor which consisted of general questions about my resume. Afterwards he offered for me to come in for an in person interview a couples days later. The in person interview was between myself, the financial advisor and a previous intern. First they asked if I knew what the field was about and specifically what he does as a financial advisor. Then is ended.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Philadelphia, PA (took 3 weeks)
A group from Lincoln Financial came to campus to conduct first round interviews. There was a 30 minute on campus interview and from there they select candidates to attend the final round in Philly. The final round was kind of different. There were 22 specific roles within the program and you interview for each role individually. They set up 3 interviews and you can set up as many more interviews as you want by networking at the dinner/networking event from the night before. If you really want to work for Lincoln, I'd recommend setting up as many interviews as possible for positions that you are interested in and could bring something new to the position. Part of your evaluation is if you set up more interviews. I knew that the company and I weren't going to be a good match pretty quickly after meeting with a few people currently in the program and some of the hiring managers, so I didn't bother setting up more interviews, but I know that most of the people who were genuinely interested in working for Lincoln set up additional interviews and received offers.
One thing to note about the interview is that there are formal questions that each interviewer has but they stray from that pretty quickly. Be prepared to bring your own array of questions.
