Interviewed Jun 2011 in Fort Worth, TX (took 2 days)
I was contacted by email and phone from a Lockheed Martin HR recruiter. They found my resume in their database and wanted to fly me out to be interviewed to work on JSF program in Fort Worth.
They thought I was a perfect fit until I pointed out to them that I had only recently graduated from college a year ago. Even though I had 2 years of engineering work experience through internships and 1 year of full time engineering work, they needed someone who had graduated at least 2 years from that day.
So unfortunately things did not work out at that time but I thought I'd let other applicants know that if they are qualified for a position then Lockheed Martin will call you, you don't have to wonder if your resume is just sitting around in some HR abyss, I know because it happened to me, I didn't even apply to anything I just submitted my resume on their website for general consideration.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Fort Worth, TX (took a day)
Received a call from recruiter asking if I'm interested in flying out for an on-site interview. Booked the flight for 2 weeks later.
The interview was only 1 hour long and held in a room full of large cubicles, which was somewhat distracting as I could hear other candidates interviewing. I sat down with a senior manager from the software team and someone from HR. The manager brought a binder with diagrams and flowcharts that describe her team and what they do. She presented this information for roughly 40 minutes. Then the HR rep spent 10 minutes asking me about some background information, such as my security clearance. I was then given less than 10 minutes to try to sell myself and explain why I'd be a good fit. There was no time left to ask questions and the interview ended after exactly 1 hour.
Over 2 months went by with no feedback. Then I received a call from someone in HR telling me there's a problem with the desired salary I listed in my original application. It didn't seem unreasonable to me, and I confirmed that is the range I'm looking to make but I'm open to negotiation. He demanded repeatedly to know my "current salary, as of right now, today." I politely refused, since I am under no obligation to disclose this information. He then said I could either tell him or he will find out in a background investigation. I told him that my current employer doesn't reveal our salaries, and if this is how his company treats potential employees then it is definitely not a good fit for me. He e-mailed me immediately after, saying that my experience and expectations are clearly not right for this position, but good luck with my job search.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Grand Prairie, TX (took 1 week)
I got a call one early morning from a recruiter telling me about a software engineering position for their MFC unit, asked if I would be interested in flying out to Texas for some in person interviews. I said yes, though I found it odd that they would fly me out to Texas without even giving me a preliminary phone interview. I flew out to Texas the following week on Monday and spent the day researching the company and going over some interview questions. I should mention Lockheed paid for travel, hotel, and car rental. The interview was set for Tuesday morning. I drove to their facility and met with an HR manager/or something. She took me to a meeting room with one other candidate and gave us a quick presentation on the company and business unit. The other candidate was an internal candidate so I knew right away I was at a disadvantage.
The interview themselves were not that hard at all. I met with two engineering managers who gave me the same presentation the HR person gave me 10 minutes ago. No questions yet...I then met with project managers for two different teams. The first manager started about introducing her project and then went to ask me basic behavioral questions (Tell me about a time, Describe a time, etc). Very easy. The second manager was more informal. He told me about the project and then just looked over my resume. Asked me a few questions (mainly behavioral) and then we just pretty much chatted for the remainder of the time.
After interviewing with the project managers, I met back with one of those engineering managers, he asked me two questions (I know one of them was: How do you handle deadlines). I ended the interview by going back to the HR person where she asked me a few questions on salary, previous employment, and willingness to relocate.
I can tell after these interviews that Lockheed Martin doesn't not care much of your technical skills (not saying that they are not important), they would teach you what you need to know. They are more concerned with how you would react to certain situations and how well you would fit and work in a team.
They said they would give me a call in a week with their decision, but after two weeks I have not heard anything. It was a great experience, but I definitely don't want to live in Texas so whether they call me or not, I don't want the job.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Grand Prairie, TX (took a day)
Applied for a job opening back in July 2011, but didn't receive a call to interview until beginning of October. Flew up to DFW for a quick one night stay. My interview was at 1:30pm. Started out with a presentation by HR about what LM was and how the company is broken down. Then one of the interviewers greeted my and took me to the room where his "team" (4 other people) sat waiting to start the interview. They all asked questions and it probably lasted about 45mins to 1hr. After that I received a tour of the building. Then did a short exit interview with HR about salary and clarifying any questions/concerns I had. Overall good experience. Still waiting to see if I receive a job offer.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Fort Worth, TX (took 2 months)
There was a one on one interview to initially determine the serious candidates. Then, after more than a month of no contact I received an email asking me to come in and be interviewed by a panel. I had to give a short power point presentation and there was also an hour long information session.

Great experience, went on a tour of the facility, saw a presentation, and interviewed with two individuals. They also flew me out, put me up in a hotel and gave me a rental car.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Grand Prairie, TX (took 2 months)
I applied online, took a month after that to get a call. I had several interviews, phone with someone in FL, panel on site in Grand Prairie, then another individual interview later. I was told up front the hiring process would be long.
Seems like a great company to work for, everyone has been there several years and enjoys it. Lots of opps to move around because it has several business units.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Fort Worth, TX (took a day)
There was one 2 on 1 interview which was behavioral but you have to have technical knowledge to seem competent. The whole process was fairly simple and the fact that they had food while you waited (1+ hour) was nice. It actually snowed while I was there but they helped me get out in time. Overall it was a good experience.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Fort Worth, TX (took a day)
Applied at college career fair and online sites and landed a on site interview. They offered me a flight or rental to the facility (I drove and was reimbursed), they also provided a hotel, and meal allowance. The day of the interview consisted of interviews, tours, and general information. I only had one interview, but several people had up to 5 (it varies on your major). The interview consisted of behavioral questions, some of my projects, college courses, and some of my interests.

Negotiation Details
You are priced based on the amount of hours of college you have completed and prior internship experiences. You are given a living stipend and work through a relocation company. Since the company is constricted by government contracts there is really no way to negotiate with them about price.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Fort Worth, TX (took a day)
I was given the offer through an alumni at my school. The first interview was through telephone, it was very informal and behavioral based. Second was in person on site with a manager from the department. It was a large interview session with several candidates for different positions, both technical and non-tech. The interview was, once again, relaxed and was more behavioral to see if you were a good fit for the company. No technical questions were asked- just what type of position would you be interested in working in.
